Date: December 07, 2014 11:35AM on 1st drive of 2nd half.that was the game. it took our heart out of the game.
then they missed holding in end zone for a safety...then the discusting over turned call on fumble and many late hits on tanne yes we did not play well, but you can't overcome the refs in a close game! Re: I knew game was over when refs called 4 penalties

Its not that it wasn't a toss up, but there has to be irrefutable evidence to overturn t he call on the field. That wasn't irrefutable. Re: I knew game was over when refs called 4 penalties

It was irrefutable. His hand was going forward and OUR PLAYER'S HAND HIT HIM IN THE FRONT OF HIS ARM. It's one thing when the guy is holding the ball and the hit comes ON THE ARM FROM THE BACK. You can say that is probably a fumble or at best, the call stands, lacking irrefutable evidence to the contrary. But as here when the arm is going forward and the defensive hand contacts him from the front (as I remember it), it's an incomplete pass. NEITHER WAS THERE A TUCK RULE. Flacco was NOT trying to pull the ball back when his arm was hit. Flacco certainly "pulled up" meaning he hesitated from stepping into the throw, realizing that the pass was going to be a failure but it was still an incomplete pass. Date: December 07, 2014 09:12PM Refs did not cause those bad false starts, the big drop on 3rd and long that should have been a first down early in the game, a line that could not block worth crap in the 2nd half, a defense that can't stop a drive before half when it should have, a stadium filled with just as many Ravens fans if not more, Odrick and Philbin going at each other, and another season of many seasons in a row of pissed off PHIN FANS...the blame is purely on Miami and nobody else....again! Date: December 08, 2014 05:48AM there were some horrible calls though. 2 big first down pickups they erased with illegal man down field. The late hits were not called which was really odd.
no doubt the refs hurt in this one. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
