Doesn't mention Tannehill but might as well be about him

This article would be spot on about Tannehill......if only remotely had anything to do with Tannehill.....but it doesn't.
The article is basically about the guys that had early success running (Kap, RG3 and Cam) so they never fully developed from the pocket, even though RT17 still has some work to do with his pocket presence, his is the exact opposite of the path the others took. Also, unlike the others, Tannehill is not quick to take off, he goes through his progressions and usually holds the ball too long, thus taking a sack, I myself would like to see him scramble a bit more (well, I'd really rather not see him have to scramble, but that is a whole other topic) on top of the 3 or 4 read options he keeps.
The difference between someone like Luck vs someone like Kap or RGIII or even Fig Newton, is they lack the third dimension. That is the ability to read defenses and progress thru reads and get the ball to the third and fourth options. Just like the video said, Kap is a one read QB. That doesn't cut it in the NFL past the first year or so in the league. If he doesn't develop the ability to read defenses, he'll be on the bench as a backup in a year or two.
I agree with dolphahlic I would like to see Tanney scramble a bit more. Not after first read of course, but after his mental clock tells him oh crap I need to get out of here.
