RECENTLY. Within memory of the last time I ran a 5k race under 26 minutes...........I didn't think I had to explain that!!

How about F the Steelers. Did you forget where you are? "My" Steelers?

New England heads to the west coast next week to face the Chargers. How cool would it be for them to lose the next two (SD & Mia) and we are tied and hold the tie-breaker after the sweep? Big dreams...
Going to be a confusing tie breaker for the 6th seed if KC loses and we win on Monday. 6 teams at 7-5!
We would be tied with the Steelerswith a 6-3 conference record. Not sure what the tie breaker is after that.
Well the first thing you do is see if any team has either beat or lost to ALL OTHER teams under consideration. Unlikely with this many teams. Then you, so to speak, break all ties within divisions, such as We have a better DIVISION record (only one loss to the Bills) than the Bills. So we would be one of the four teams remaining for consideration.
I don't know who those teams are but again, revert to head to head, only applicable if a team has won or lost to all the others under consideration and then conference record again.
In case of ties after that? I dunno. Strength of schedule, with the team with the stronger schedule having preference? Or does that only apply to the draft.
It's pretty simple. We need to win 4 of the next 5.
Tomorrow night is a must win.
One game at a time.
If we keep winning, and playing well, then we can make some noise in the playoffs....the key is to keep winning and playing well...

It's a discussion board and we are having a discussion. Relax yourself.

Awe come on! Put me in, Coach! That is truly great insight. "The key is to keep winning"? Really? I hadn't thought of that.
We are all fans. We can look as far ahead as we want. It's up to the actual team to keep focus. Hell, most of us are already thinking about the draft!

So it seems Miami will take control of the 6th seed with a win tonight! Big game even if the standings don't reflect it. We control our destiny again which won't happen again if we don't seize the opportunity.
Agreed Joe, the only thing that scares me is the Dolphins looking ahead to next weeks Ravens game, cant look past a division rival that would like nothing better then ruining our season again

I don't see that happening. Anything could happen but all the players know how tough division games are and Philbin surely has not let them forget it.
