Philly and Detroit have multiple first round picks. Dallas, Chicago and Carolina have none.
Redskins and Chiefs have no picks in the 2nd round. Miami, NYG and Cleveland have two 2nd rounders and NE has 3.
There are rumors that...
1 the Lions want to trade down but no one wants the #1 pick (3000 points).
2 Philly may want to trade up.
3 Miami is open to go either way. Rumor is the players they like will go in the top 15 but they could opt to trade down.
4 The Chiefs may opt to trade down from #3 (2200) to regain the 2nd rounder (560) given up for Cassel. The could swap 1st rounders and end up with two 1sts and no second. They could also use players like Glen Dorsey and Derrick Johnson to gain picks.
Philly's two first round picks add up to 1460 points. The 8th pick in the draft (Jax) is 1400 points.
The Lions 1st round value adds up to 3,850 points.
The Pats 2nd round value is 1310 points. (1st round value=760)
The Phins 2nd round value is 800 points. 44=460, 56=340 (1st round value=720).
The way I see it there are a handful of players that teams would trade up into the top 10 for. Jason Smith, Eugene Monroe, Aaron Curry, Brian Arakpo, Crabtree, Raji, Stafford and maybe Sanchez.
The Bucs just signed Leftwich so they may not be thrilled with Freeman.
These teams still need QB's.... SF, NYJ & Det.
These teams MAY look at QB for future need...Rams, TB, Titans, Broncos, Minnesota, Az, Jax and Seattle.
I think the most likely is KC. They have a lot of holes to fill.
Dallas does not have a first round pick but they do have a 2nd (51) rounder, two 3rd rounders, two 4th rounders and 3 5th rounders. They do not have many holes and will probably trade up to fill a need. They like to deal and need a playmaker at WR and a Guard. I could see a trade up for someone like Percy Harvin.
What do you think are possibilities for draft day trades?
I think that if anything, we'll trade down to acquire more picks. I've heard some of the guys on Sirius NFL Radio say that there are only about 23 guys that carry a true first round grade. And then there's a lot of guys in the next range of grades. So, if there's no one left at #25 that we feel strongly about, maybe we could trade down to the early 2nd round and pick up an additional early 3rd rounder. I don't think we'll be packaging picks to move up. We have too many holes to fill and need as many players as possible.

If he slips to 20, I think we MUST trade up to get him. He'll never make it to 25.
I think an easier question to wrap your brain around would be where do you think the first trade of the nfl draft will happen... let me think about that.
If Al Davis is smart (which he is not any more), and he really covets Darius Bey, he will trade down with a team looking to add one of the two remaining OT's or remaining top WR's, pass rushers or BJ Raji and take Bey at a lower spot instead of reaching for him at 7.
no the only wr in the top 6 we will take is going to be nicks, as the 44th pick. we taking sean smith at 56? whatever are next one would be, and laurinitous should be the 25th

I hadn't thought about it. I'm not really sure, value-wise, what it would take to move up 5 spots. I'm just convinced that ILB is our biggest need, and the Dolphins have had some very good ones in the past (Buonticonti, Duhe, Offerdahl, Thomas). If we have any chance, I'd like to see us go for the best one in the draft.
Very true. If he makes it past NE then he will fall in our laps. I would hate to see him go to NE and line up with Jerod Mayo for the next 10 years...throw in Adalius Thomas, Richard Seymour and Vince WIlfork. I dont like that idea.

I am not convinced Maualuga is worth moving up for. To move from 25 to 20 would require a 3rd round pick or #92 overall which rates higher than the 130 points for #92 so we would possibly get back a 6th rounder to make up the difference.
I would rather go for Jasper Brinkley in the 3rd than give up a 3rd and 1st for RM. ILB's can be had in later rounds.
KC trades down and gets Tyson Jackson with a team wanting to move up to get Sanchez....possible partners are Cleveland, Was or NYJ. Could be a 3 way trade involving Brady Quinn or Jason Campbell.
If St. Louis was smart they would trade down to 5 with Cleveland and get Quinn and Browns 2nd rounder (36).
Browns reportedly had a bad interview with Crabtree and really like Sanchez.
The Rams could still get a top 3 tackle and end up with picks 35 and 36 in round 2.
They could walk away with Andre Smith, Hakeem Nicks, Brady Quinn and Connor Barwin to play opposite Chris Long....
Now that's a deal! even though Quinn probably sucks.
