My understanding is that he is available.
Why wouldn't we give him a call?
He knows our system.

He is a glass man. We will be ok Cortland and Taylor day to day. Both will be ready two weeks from now.

I agree, why not have him on the roster, nothing is guaranteed only game check to game check type of deal... It is the holidays I am sure he would be up for a game check or 2...

He may be out of shape, having not played for so many games.

Go after Ray Rice! He is now available and would deff add another dimension on offense!

Well they where drunk and she instigated it. I do not condone his actions and he was dead wrong but after watching the video it's clear they are both at fault and it seems like a isolated incident. We all make mistakes. If that was a pattern of his then I would be hell no but if the counseling and therapy helped and worked then I'd be ok with that.

Nope. That's BS. I go to domestics all the time. You can have verbal altercations I've see women pushed shoved, even taken outside and hit with a shoe.never saw a chick knocked out with one punch ever.

Sorry I don't condone it.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Pats had no problem adding Blount who has had several incidents. Punched a player post game in college.

We're not the Pats. They can hide PR issues, but we're still stinging from the Martin/Incognito incident last year.

Yes. Miami is the poster child for bullying.....adding a wife beater is not a great move.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

How did adding Patterson turn into adding rice?

We need a cornerback not a running back.

I still think we should give him a tryout. He was our best db early last season before getting hurt.

Anybody agree? Only positive can come out of a move like that.

Stevie, I think he was talking about two subjects and saying, "and while we're talking about adding players about Patterson, Blount and other issues, let's not think about Rice."

I would be ok with adding Patterson, opposed to adding Rice.

For what it's worth from Omar

"@jimb39: Any thoughts or insight as to why Miami didn't look at Dimitri Patterson this week?"ยป he's difficult to deal with.

Omar Kelly @OmarKelly 5d
I personally like Dimitri Patterson, and think he's a good CB. But he's been a complication for 3 coaching staffs now based on what I'm told
