I am planning to go to Miami the family for the Jets game December 28th. Any suggestions from the locals, do's, or don'ts as far as accommodations, tickets, parking, etc?
If you park you want to drive around the stadium to where the turnpike entrance is at and park there... That is the trick to getting out of the stadium in a reasonable time frame. You literally exit the stadium right into the turnpike tolls so there is no hold up.. I believe it is gate F or H... The visitor side is in the sun the whole time, which can be overwhelming. The home side gets shade normally just before halftime..
If you are taking your family, how long are you in town for? What do you like to do,etc?

Crowder - In-laws have place near Tampa. We will probably drive over on Sunday to watch the game then stay over in Miami Sunday night. I'd prefer to skip Tampa/visiting in-laws all together to just make it a Dolphins vacation but I am obviously lacking in my "negotiation" skills.

Do you want to be near the beach, good restaurants, shopping, culture or stadium? Do you want to be in Miami or Fort Lauderdale? How much do you want to spend on hotel? Good luck with the the negotiations, never an easy task with the wifey in this house either.....

air bnb a place near the ocean..make sure it has a parking space, cruise over to the other side of town in a rental car on game day. Depending on your preferences in entertainment and tolerance for crowds, can not tell you where to stay along the coast, but Southern Broward County seems pretty nice.
