The worst part of the Fletcher pick was that it wasnt even a *NEED* pick. We already had Sam Madison and Patrick Surtain.
We had *HUGE* needs every where else and Wannstache tried to get pretty and pick up a Nickle DB who eventually would take over for Madison and that pick was a bust.
So most agree it is Jamar Fletcher and or Sammie Smith. But when we lost David Overstreet, it had an impact on our Franchise bigtime. We never really got back on truck with RB for decades. Overstreet was drafted first rd out of Oklahoma and was expected to do great things. We never really had a great running game in Marinos SUperbowl becasue of the death of Overstreet. I remember rooting for him as a kid and being devesate when he died for he was my favorite player before Marino arrvied shortly after.

Don't forget the loss of Andra Franklin in Marino's rookie year!
Kumerow. This is guy that everyone scatched their head when the Dolphins picked him. He was nowhere on anyone's radar for the first round (many temas had him rated as 3rd rounder) and he sucked.
