Clay ball was thrown behind him. More accurate it is a TD.

Dolphins can play with the best. Must win game Thursday night.

A sad ending to a good game. At least it was close, but Philbin needs to go back to TIME OUT school...seems like he clearly has no clue how they are used strategically.

As a general observation, you might be right. But I saw one instance late in the game when Tanny stuck the ball in the runner's belly and let him take it but if he had pulled it out, he could have made the first down.

We hung in there. Detroit has a very good defense and we were down a couple of players and still hung in there.

It's time to move forward.

Buffalo lost too. We really need to beat them on Thursday.

the lions defended the read option all game. did you guys notice the DE hitting tannehill after he handed off. they set the edge and contained it.

the one time tannehill kept it he got crushed for a 3 yard loss.

so blame the coaches all you want but they ran it a lot. the lions defensed it perfectly on the outside.

that's why you need to be able to throw from the pocket.

Lots of positives today. Defense played well , first game that Dion Jordan has made an impact. That was very encouraging. Despite constant pressure I believe Ryan Tannehill proved he is the toughest QB in the league.

Bad news is we probably lost Albert for the season .

Coaching wasn't the best, but we went down swinging so I'm not complaining. Everyone in the NFL knows we are for real.TANNEHILL is legit. thumbs up

Buffalo here we come!! I got tickets for this one!! Let's go Phins!!!

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Well said Treasure.

I was pleased with Jordan's contribution...He FINALLY made an impact.

Tannehill IS legit. He played very tough against the #1 ranked defense in the NFL and there really isn't anything else he could have individually done to change the outcome of this game. Our O-line was completely dominated for most of it. He did a great job getting rid of the ball quick to adjust to that brutal pass rush. He is a franchise QB who WILL have his day of glory.

Our defense is for real too - They kept us in it. Grimes had one helluva day against the best WR in the NFL. There wasn't anything else Grimes could have done to stop Megatron from getting his only TD of the day. CJ is a total beast. Him and Stafford are joined at the hip and that's a pairing that all their opponents have to face, not just the Phins.

I hope Finnegan will be ok. It doesn't look good for Albert, I hope he isn't out for good. Hung in there with him gone as best as they could after he was carted off.

I would have liked to see the coaching keep the pressure on Stafford towards the end. Hopefully this staff will get it right sooner than later. The sky isn't falling just yet, we're still above .500 thumbs up

cbssports.com is reporting Albert is done for the year.

That's a shame. Not going to be easy to replace.
