Not the best draft year for QBs, though. Last year was the year for QBs. I wonder if Denver will try to use some of their extra draft picks to trade for a QB instead.

I say, if they're smart, they'll pick up a low-priced vet this year and wait to draft a QB next year.

And Jim McMahon was probably the only one worth anything.
I wish cutler was traded to the jets instead and the jets had to give a couple of first rounders. But even the jets are not as dumb as the bears. Go figure.

what too you is a good qb?
1.Pennington is a good QB!
Ps. He made our mediocre receivers look good. Took us to the playoffs with an average offense. Average receivers.
2.Dan Marino is a good QB!
Ps. Hall of famer. 200 Passing records.
3.Payton manning is a good QB!
Ps. See Dan marino
4. Eli Manning is a good QB!
PS. Won a superbowl.
And so on...
Cutler isn't even on penningtons level. so what if he has a better arm. He is an INT Machine. And i wish the jets picked him up and gave 2 first rounders. they would had mortgaged the future for an int machine.
Or did you miss the denver phins game this past year.
lol well again opinion, you have no facts on numbers because if you want to call somone a int machine, then why did pennington turn it over 4? wait 5 times in our HUGE LOSS to the ravens in wildcard? so by your deffinitions he should suck?
exactly, and with the bears older lol defense, and decent running game i bet they go after robeskie in the 2nd round, they might sign holt, or harrison? i could see the little harrison going there or retiring, anyway they should win the north title this year, and get beat bad in the playoffs, i do however see hester making alo of yards this year when he runs straight and cutler gives him the BOMB, look for fantasy value. and greg olson too is going to have a HUGE year. and forte
Pennington is loved right now in Miami because he was the QB on a team that went from 1 win to 11 wins in a single season, but in thinking about who I would rather have (Cutler or Pennington), the first thing that comes to mind is a player's value.
Cutler was traded along with a 5th round pick for
2 First round picks
1 Third round pick
1 serviceble, young QB with starting experience
What would we get for Pennington? A second rounder if we are fortunate? If so, what would that say about his value compared to Cutler's?
Give me a very good, 3600 yard per year, QB with heart, class and maturity over a strong armed, spoiled, immature, take my ball and go home, 4,000 yard per year, crybaby QB, to be the face of the franchise any day of the week.
Last I checked, Jeff George never won anything anyway.
That I am aware of, nobody thought anything bad about Cutler until McDaniel came along. Do we really know that Cutler was the problem? The Bears (and about 7 other teams) didn't think he would be a problem. Is it possible that McDaniel is the problem?

Nobody? Really?
Denver is about 50-50 on this issue. Cutler is a jerk. It was not McDaniel. The coach has every right to explore a trade with anyone. The crybaby can now cry in Chicago. Good for him, better for the Broncos.
You guys that think the Phins should have traded for him just don't get it. You are way too into stats.
There is no way I would have paid the king's ransom that the Bears paid; but I still think the guy is a great QB.
Leon - Denver is 50/50 on the issue now; but how did they feel about Cutler before the issue with McDaniel came up? I never heard anything bad about him before that.
