The Raiders were flying directly to London after their game in NE. They have a week to adjust. Miami was planning to leave on Thursday.
It shouldn't be a factor.

Coming in from London
From over the pole
Flying in a big airliner
Chickens flying everywhere around the plane
Could we ever feel much finer?

It is a bit more than 3 hours from the west coast to the east coast. It takes that long non-stop from Florida to the mid-west. It's closer to 6 hours to go from Miami to Seattle or SF. London is 5 hours. I don't see a big issue for Miami. London is 5 hours ahead of us as well. 1pm start time ET and 6pm start London time.

Oakland to London is a 12-14 hour flight. That's a bit different.

Anyone else think it's beyond stupid to have an NFL game in London during the regular season? Do we think we're going to inspire some Rugby players to take up American Football? I do NOT see any logic in this. Preseason is one thing, but the regular season is completely different.

The NFL and the Commish work for the League of Billionaire's. They see the rest of the world as a marketing strategy. I'm really surprised they haven't gone Canadian yet. I still think the Bills are going North , the fans just don't know it yet. Too many people to conquer. That's if their is even a sport left after all the political correctness and rule making .

Can you imagine a Rugby player crying and saying he was bullied? LOL. Those guys all smoke a half Pack of "fags" after the game, drink, and then go to their "real" jobs.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I'd much rather see a team in London than some tiny us market.

Technology is making the world a smaller and smaller place. A century ago it took weeks to travel from NY to London. Now it's a few hours. In the next few years you can actually by a ticket to travel into space. Who knows what improvements we can expect to in commuter travel down the road?

If the nfl thinks provincially it's growth potential is severely limited. It has a tremendous product with a phenomenal brand. They are nuts if they don't at least try to export their product internationally.

Haha. Of course, the model of a publicly opened, non profit franchise probably wouldn't sit well with these owners, not too mention it's gonna be real tough to find a small city with the cash to pony up $2b for a franchise and another $2b for a state of the art facility.

Perhaps Greenwich, ct would work... smiling smiley

That's fair. I'm not a big fan of playing games games there that should be played here. Of course that all changes if you put a franchise there. And if that's the goal you have to lay the foundation by starting somewhere...
