The Pats have to play the Bengals coming off a bye.

The Packers have to travel to Miami on a short week. They play The Vikings this Thursday in GB. Jordy Nelson leads the NFL in yards.

The Bills face the Lions in Detroit and then host the Pats.

Miami and NE both have tough schedules but NE looks to be a bit tougher.

The plot I've been waiting for is to see how the Pats handle the adversity and scrutiny of losing. They have really not had to do it since Belichick took over in 2000.

Moreno would likely be top 1 or 2 the league in rushing at this point had he not gotten hurt. Miller is currently 6th in rushing and is on pace for over 1100 yards and 8 td's.

Miami is 6th ranked in rushing as a team. That's quite a jump up from 2013 (26th).

Jelaney Jenkins in 6th in the league in tackles.

Miami is ranked 7th in yards allowed on defense but 13th in points allowed.

Around the league....EJ Manuel got benched in favor of Kyle Orton.

Tannehill had a great game on sunday and ej had an atrocious game against the texans..

If i had a choice between ej and tannehill i would pick tannehill as my starting qb.

Who would you pick dolfin?

Orton hasn't had a decent season in 4 years. He makes some big plays because he is a gunslinger but he also likes to turn the ball over and is wildly inconsistent.

This is a 32 year old vet who has 20 td's and 20 int's over the last 3 seasons and a 6-11 record.

He was really only good/above average in one system and that was in Denver.

I don't think he will be any better or consistent than Manuel.

next promoted starter....Mike Vick for the Jets. Rex is pretty stubborn though.

colonel, the same point could be made for the Dolphins,

samsam did you watch the Texans game? He made the bad interception, but had the team close to a pretty decent team.

I find it odd you dont defend him, yet do another young QB in Tannehill.

While I think Moore is better then Orton, I think I would give EJ more then a handful of starts, as the Dolphins did with Tannehill

Your the only one that finds it odd. Even when we win with Tannehill.

Your pretending Matt Moore is some great QB who was given this big injustice. 3 other teams didn't want him. He was never drafted. STILL he has become quite a decent backup QB and some desperate team might have signed him to compete for a starting position. But he CHOOSE to stay and hold the clip board. What does that tell you? drinking smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

It tells you he is afraid to stink on another team.

Matt Moore is happy to be holding the clipboard and getting paid for it..

If teams find out how bad he is, starting, he might be out of the NFL working in mcdonalds.

No need to rip on Moore. He's a good backup.

Had we won our own game, we would have been in first place.

If we beat New England again and beat Buffalo, we're in good shape in case of a three way tie. Another loss to Buffalo and things get complicated, even if we have beaten NE twice.

Moore is a great back up. Nothing Moore. He started moore the a few times in his career and the results were extremely mediocre at best. He knows the deal. He knew with Tannehill here he would never be the starter. Ever. But he has a family and being paid 2 Million a yr to hold a clip board while his family goes to the beach and his kid goes to private school isn't a bad deal. He knows it. Everyone does.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I hope we get last place. Would rather have top 5 pick than 13th.

Moore has a good gig, but he should be starting. Tannehill has not gotten us anywhere.

What should have happened was Moore started when Tannehill was signed and then Tannehill moved into the spot. Moore was never given a fair shot and Tannehill has never earned it.

Ask the Redskins how that worked out........just saying

We had the #1 pick in the draft and we got a great lineman. What did it get us? We had the best QB , arguably EVER in the NFL........what did it get us? Ricky Williams ran for aver 1800 Yds one season and we didn't even make the play offs. You need a TEAM. Look at New England. Look at how consistent they are. Because they have leadership and a game plan every week. It starts at the Top bro. I can't wish for anything , I can't diss any players or give any props until Joe Philbin is gone. He is that bad. It all doesn't matter until he is gone. His whole philosophy and mentality is that of a losers make up. Playing not to lose. Its like going to Vegas and just bet on the black every spin. Its 50/50 right? No way you pick a number and go for it. What a fing loser. Pathetic.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Treasure what about the Bengals coach Lewis? They sucked for years under him (horrible coach?) until they got better players (great coach?)

Did he get better? Did the players matter ?

Not disagreeing with you, but there are so many variables.

We shoulda won more during the RW years, but we played not to lose all those years.

Marvin Lewis was 11-5, won the division and made the playoffs in his 3rd year.

I'm not a fan of Lewis. Don't really follow the Bungals so can't really say anything. What I can say is he never gave opposing teams timeouts.

You talking about miami?

I said all along how this schedule was going to be tough...some guys here said it differs from year to year.

But i went by just looking at the qbs we play.

Brady
Rivers
Manning
Rodgers
The one from the lion is very good too
Flacco

A lot of these guys either won superbowls and are going to be hall of famers.

I have no idea how we have this schedule with the record we ended up last year.

Scheduling isn't complicated guys. It has little to do with you record last year.

You play 16 games.

6 of them are home & home series with the other3 teams in your division.

You rotate playing one division in the NFC each year. That's 4 more.

You play one of the other 3 divisions in the AFC on a rotating basis so. That's 4 more.

That's 14 of the 16 you play.

The last two games are the teams in the other two AFC divisions that finished in your slot in their division.

We finished 3rd last year so we got JAX and BAL this year.
