But in this day and age, everyone knows how to walk in someone's shoes without having walked in them.

I know cramps can be painful. I know you can't walk with them let alone run up and down the court in a non-stop game like basketball. At least in football, there are so many seconds before the next play must be run. And in football, if you are a lineman, you only have to move within a few feet.


In basketball, it's take the ball out of bounds and it starts all over and everyone must run up and down the court every second.

But this new generation of yours is a total watching generation. You watch TV, computers, cell phones, and you imagine that you could do the same thing and play through the cramps. It's part of the generation that knows how to do it because they saw it on video.

This same living-vicariously-through-the-television-and-the-computer age leads to kids thinking that they can shoot and kill and it's just a video game or that two girls can stab another girl and leave her out on a lonely road and, after all, it's not real right? It's not really real, right?

Get a grip. We are fans. We sit our fat arses down on a chair probably for a living and we certainly do it while watching a game. No matter how you may fantasize, you are NOT A FRIGGING PROFESSIONAL ATHLETE, and as long as I'm on this board I will remind you of that inconvenient fact.

Well, those cramps of LeBron were REAL. He had absolutely no motive to give San Antonio any break. He wants the ring.

And as for as Martin is concerned, he has sealed the envelope of his life that has "IDIOT" written on the outside of it.

Frankly, I don't see how they will stand him on the 49ers.

Funny enough, went to sleep last night after posting the above.

Woke up in the middle of the night with a tremendous cramp in my hamstring.

It was so bad that I even toyed with the idea of calling 9-1-1.

It's like someone is shooting electricity through your legs and back.

Refs took us OUT of the Game last night. Those refs were so deep in the pocket of gamblers that they could no longer see the ceiling.

They were calling a tennis match every time the Spurs had the ball but they were calling a boxing match every time the Heat had the ball.

I haven't watched basketball since Jordan retired. My first look at Lebron James was the last game in Miami...I was not impressed. Not even in the same category as MJ!

He looked clumsy with marginal ball skills. I never saw Jordan have a game that bad. let alone in the finals.

I do realize it was just one game but....

I didn't see the game, but was confused, then shocked when I saw the headline that San Antonio beat them handily; I thought it was a headline from the *previous* game where that happened. I'd believed that the Spurs were too old to go the distance with LeBron and crew.

The Heat *could* still come back. Although I heard there's never been a comeback from a 3-1 deficit in the NBA finals, but there's a first time for everything.

They might not win , but no way they go down 3-1. J. Martin says so. (Trying to keep it on topic......)

The Spurs should buy the refs lobster dinners for that performance. I have never before seen a more one-sided game called.

In football, the refs can take a game with a critical call but in basketball, the refs have to make a lot of wrong calls to take a game and they did so here.

I saw a Heat player being flattened on a Spur drive to the basket. No call. It HAD TO BE either a charge or a blocking foul. The replay showed the Heat player had been in the spot so long that the arena was looking to charge him rent. So it had to be a charge but no call was made.

Watch it in the next game. Look how rough the Spurs can play on the bodies of the Miami players and how the refs will call a foul if a Heat player BREATHES HARD on a Spur.

Talking about betting with family members truth.....Still a bet though...................Nerve wrecking.....Cant take it and will stop doing it soon......

when you get beaten that soundly at home twice it screams sour grapes blaming the refs.

I can't stand the heat. James is the epitome of a selfish athlete. He looked like he checked out of game 4 much like he did the to the Cavs his final year there.

Kawai Leonard get's abused every time he drives the lane and not once does he get up complaining like bron bron and wade.

It's comical that the talking heads want to blame Mario freaking Chalmers. The "big" 3 should be dictating this series.
