It should pay off dividends this season. He has bulked up so now hopefully he won't be grabbed up and bounce off the tackles but instead be able to spin off or deflect arms and get around to the QB.

a 6th round pick is a complete insult. the guy is still incredibly talented and just 2 years removed from being the consensus top D player in the draft. I am tired of teams trying to take advantage of our idiocy and constant turnover in the coach/gm ranks to guy players for pennies on the dollar. how did that vontae davis deal work out?

You cant compare this to Vontae. He wasn't developed. That's on our coaching staff who is still here amazingly.

Unless Jordan can be used in a (worthwhile) trade, I would keep him and work his ass off until he drops, or better yet, starts playing to his capabilities.

Say what you want but jordan was consensus tip 5 pick that year. He'd have gone to philly at 4 if we didn't take him. He May end up being a bust but he wasn't a reach and we did not overspend to get him. Everything that happened since the puck is the problem

He was a reach because, it was not a position of need, and he was injured. And everything that happened since that pick did happen. That's why is value is close to nothing at this point.he at least had value before he played and showed nothing.
