Ross Tucker ?@RossTuckerNFL ·2h
You win, Cleveland. You've got the most dysfunctional NFL franchise. Congrats

Charles Robinson ?@CharlesRobinson ·2 hrs
The NFL has decided to demote the Cleveland Browns to the B league and bring up the Alabama Crimson Tide.

Adam Schefter ?@AdamSchefter ·2 hrs
For those who lost track... RT @SprowESPN: Browns have now had 3 different head coaches and 3 different GMs in the last 407 days. Decent.

I bet Farmer knew he was going to get promoted in Cleveland when he turned down the dolphins job

Farmer was not even in the head coaches interview this year and vehemently denies knowing about the "opportunity" before turning down Miami. Says Miami definitely was not right for him. eye rolling smiley

My opinion, of course, but I believe he either knew or at least had an inkling, that he would get the GM job in Cleveland.

I also believe he turned down Miami's offer because of the dysfunction of the front office (i.e., Ross, Aponte, and Philbin), as he stated (in so many words).

Saying that, the Cleveland situation isn't much different than Miami's.

Go figure.

cleveland is actually worse than miami in terms of dysfunction. the owner dumps the coach after 1 year then hires a replacement coach and 1 week later fires the gm b/c he couldn't deliver him a better coach. what kind of job security does Mike Pettine think he's got now?

Browns are rumored to be close to deals with or trying to land.....

Karlos Dansby
Darrell Revis
Donte Whitner

Their defense was the strength of the team in 2013 but about to get better.

Already pretty much locked up Alex Mack.

Lost TJ Ward (likely)

Looks like they will concentrate on offense in the draft but are rumored to like Schaub when released.
