From what I'm reading on Twitter, this guy is the real deal, a lot of people are scratching their heads on why he even accepted an interview since he's turned down all other requests in years past, and he's one of the very few people allowed in the Pats war room on draft day.......having said that, his interview was VERY short, so i'm not getting to excited.......
Buyer BEWARE....all employees of Bill Belichick as well as recommendations and speculations from Miami beat writers.
Pioli was supposed to be the genius a few years ago remember?
He was probably just sent here as a spy to see what is going on in the hiring process and inner workings/dynamic of the front office! I bet he was wired.
rick it is way more likely that this guy took the interview as a joke to report back to bellicheck than he actually takes the job or even a second interview

I'm done with all of this drama surrounding a new GM...I'll simply wait until we hire one and then talk about who we hired for a change instead of who we didn't or who declined the job.
Reports are that he has a second interview today berk, doubt he would stick around if he wasn't interested, a very doubtful Belichek would be that concerned in our inner workings.
Look if we hire him I'll say alls well that ends well. Key to get someone from a top org and while I'd be lying if I said I ever heard of him before yesterday it sounds like he's a solid personnel guy

Like A&O said on Twitter, if he was interviewing with someone else, he's the hot young candidate, but since he's interviewing with Ross, he's just an organizer and never called the shots, news flash, all of these first time guys have never called the shots!
He has taken a second interview, he's been both a coach and a personnel guy so he knows players, he has refused all interviews for a GM position (and he's had some requests) until now, and how many decisions would he make with Belichick in the room? Its been said by Boston newspapers that he's had a hand in some personnel moves, and is always in the war room at the draft and all decision-making meetings, but final say is and has always been Belichick's. This is a good guy, maybe the best, to learn from.
