Just a Terrible Ending to a Promising Season

This will be my last post for a while... I am flat out exhausted!

To lose these 2 last games the way we did is truly embarrassing.

I only hope that the proper changes are made in the offseason..

OC, coach, gm...?

If it were me, I would leave Ireland , philbin and coyle for one more season.
A new OC is needed to replace Sherman !
If philbin refuses to cn Sherman,,,then he must get fired as well.

Personally if we can finally hire Gruden and lure him away from tv...that would be the only upgrade that i Could think of...

When was it ever promising? You mean prior to Keller getting hurt?

Worse part is that we did just enough to get a much worse draft position. What were we when Bullygate exploded 5-6??? I may be wrong but I think it was then we won 3 in a row to go 8-6.

We would have been much better off losing those games and going 5-11.

As painful as a finish as it was i cant agree with that very logical assessment there chyren. I hoped /asked that we be relevant right til the end and we were. Got to root for them right thru the end with my boys and thats sports. I hate them being irrelevant in nov. I am dissapointed to say the least (esp since i just watched my "other" team(dallas) get ousted) but had painful fun hoping my fins would finish contrary to their natural tendencies. Oh well at least nhl aint on strike/lockaout this year so i got my B's to focus on.

You want salt in the wound the last 2 games Ryan Tannehill was out played by Thadeus Lewis and Geno Smith need I say more. He is clearly not a franchise QB. No pocket presence, or awareness. I don't know what else too say other than you can't teach these things to Tannehill. You either have or you don't, and clearly he does not have it. Too me that means Fireland, and Philbin are both gone because they drafted this loser, and were stuck with his sorry ass. It is a tough pill too swallow however our QB cost this team a winning season.

No, you misinterpret me, angryseas. I was there rooting for those wins and hoping to beat the Jills and the Patsies too. I'm just saying that as it turned out.........

I hear ya chyren never meant to imply you weren't rooting for the team right til the end. I just meant as painful as the exit was i still enjoyed the ride. I dont even mind (too much) that we didnt make the playoffs just the all to predictable lame way we exited. As i have said my "other " team being the boys and they too have been a bumpy ride but at least went down swinging last nite. The fins just always fold like a tent and the players almost seem to accept it as their fate
