I know it has been mentioned around here numerous times, the "go" and "go, go" snap count... And that teams have seemed to know it at times and get the jump on the play, even what we are going to run.... This last week, Bills players and our LT brought up that the Bills knew the snap cadence and got the jump on us for a large part of the game.... Since it was an away game, there was no "go" or "go, go", it was all silent snap counts...
So what the hell is going on..... What reads are teams able to get on us either from our pattern or tells.... Because it would make a lot of sense that we have something that either Tannehill is doing or our OC is coaching him to do that defenses are picking up on....
Mckinnie said there were things we needed to do, so they couldn't get our cadence, but we haven't practiced it so we couldn't try and do it mid game.... This snap count problem has been questioned at times all year, but it seems it is obviously more of a problem then anything that we thought was happening just vocally...

The execution was a bigger problem then any of the play calls that is for sure.... But this snap cadence or count issue has come up so much there must be some truth to it and also something that can be fixed.... The responsibility does fall on the OC and HC for sure, but if they go 9-7 with everybody getting the jump on us. Imagine what we can do when they don't know our cadence or whether we are going to run or pass.....

McKinnie has clarified his comments to say the Bills were timing the Phins' silent snap count, which they were using a lot of since they were on the road.

Translation........an unknown source walked over to McKinnie and said "hey Big Mac, shut the f&%$ up, you're making us look bad"
The whole snap count "issue" seems utterly ridiculous for a Professional Football team.
How can this possibly be a "problem?" And if it is -- how in the hell can the staff either miss the problem or not effectively solve it? I mean this is high school stuff for pigskin sakes!
I don't know enough about the snap count and cadence to really comment on it.....but I do know that something is wrong and a few teams have publically stated it. Watching our Team last week was proof positive that something is really wrong and now we have a veteran left Tackle telling it. Guess what? SOMETHING IS WRONG. And if the Coaches don't fix it this off season they need to go. Simple as that. Is it something that can be fixed in a week or a few months? I don't have a clue what it takes to implement a cadence to a offense that everyone is jiggy with. But it needs to get done. 32 games ago we had the Texans wipe our ass with it. Lets get the problem officially solved.
if the offense yelled "pass" before a pass, and "run" before a run, everyone would say how ridiculous and stupid including the coaches. well after week 2 everyone know "go" = pass and "go go" = run and called the coaches on it and they denied it and said it doesn't matter. to me this is even worse because it combines arrogance, ignorance, stubbornness and contempts for the intelligence of the fans. How is it that telling the other team what play you are running before you're running it doesn't matter and how can this coaching staff do nothing to address this glaring problem??

The beatings will continue until morale improves.
It dosent matter because the defense still dosen't know what you are actually going to run until you run the play. They only positively know what you have done in the past and they still need to react to what the offensive players do after the snap.
I wouldn't do it if I was a coach...but there it is.
