My sons ordered me a 3D foam Dolphins logo for the screen room. We just did a little redecorating and got a pool table. The advertisement showed the Old Dolphins Logo but guess what arrived? Yep......Shiny New Ross Approved Ghey Dolphin logo. My Kids were just really excited to give it to me. They even picked out a spot to hang it......God I hate this new logo!
Walmart will be cutting all the Phins stuff in half soon after the holidays. I used to jump on it because the 2XX stuff disappeared quickly. Now I wouldn't use it to wipe my ass.
CURSE YOU ROSS! I now have a new Dolphins logo hanging in my house because anything my Kids give me is more special then the material its printed on. I see this happening a lot more in the future.
got to put it up ...im still rockin the fuzzy dice from my truck mirror that my son proudly won for me at a carny game this summer ,,enjoy the xmas with your loved ones all!
You put it up and cherish it...I hate the new logo too. But my son gave me a new logo hat for Christmas (My first anything with it on it) and I'll be wearing it this week.
He also gave me an autographed Don Shula, Hall of Fame, helmet (original Logo) too...great kid!

You're a TRIPLE XL Chyren??? I'm 29 years old 5'7 and 155 pounds. I think I'll be stepping lightly both figuratively and literally when arguing with you on this board in the future.

Autographed Shula ball!!? Wow you must have been a great dad! My Kids are still 9-14 so if I ever got something that extravagant I'd be looking around at whats missing.... Something tells me you and I are going to have to learn to like the new logo because its all there will be except for a big premium on "vintage shirts".

I'm trying to get lighter as I get older. When I was younger getting bigger was the plan but I just did 2 days of holiday overtime with about 25 pounds of gear and I'm dragging my ass today. getting back down to under 200 won't be easy but as 50 comes and goes my joints will thank me. getting old sucks. Can't anything ever stay the same? I want my old logo back damn it!!!!!!

By then I hope to be retired and then I can wear shorts and tank tops all day long.
A couple of years ago when I was 62 me and GF did a 4 day hike on the Inka Trail to Macchu Picchu, at times reaching altitudes in excess of 13,000 feet. I had previously done the hike at age 59 but, this time it was easier because I knew what to expect and could pace myself. Still, I was finishing each leg well ahead of the kids in my group. Don't sell yourself short at age 60 and above.
Oh no doubt. I had a free for all a few weeks ago with a 17 yr old punk. He was taller but I had the weight advantage. NEVER EVER count experience short.
Lol I love the ole dusty attitude, but come on guys fighting is for the young, and unless you train a lot well especially being overweight you guys do not stand much of a chance.

Oh yeah.......I believe in Verbal Judo first and foremost. 87% of people can be talked to. Absolutely. but those 3% can be a bitch. I can feel it. I'm not the person I was 10 yrs ago. Its getting harder to see at night , I feel things for 3-5 days instead of just 1 day afterwards. But experience helps. I don't go to domestics alone ever. I always call in where I'm at in case things go sideways and If I can't beat'em I sure as hell can grab'em and hang on till help arrives. And the best part......I'll get Overtime doing the report and going to court while you Rot .
But these dbags just aren't afraid of jail anymore, Treasure. Some of them regard it as home and others think, "at least I get fed three times a day there."
People forget that the main purpose of punishment is not punishment itself but to deter crime. How can you deter it if the punishment is even better than home life. They even get access to free exercise equipment, meet up with old buddies, and get to study in the law library about how to beat the rap.

Yeah I agree on the big timers. but I deal with most street level punks , jail gets expensive (you Lawyers!)and the county jail sucks compared to the state once your convicted. When your awaiting trial there is no exercise rooms, no smoking at all, no visits from your wife or girlfriends. Its much more segregated, the food sucks . Cable TV is about the only privilege. I've seen some losers actually ask for a year and a day so they go straight out to the state rather then get a 6 month sentence in the county lock up. I'm NOT making that up.

RE: Not a ball. He gave me a helmet...yeah, I agree though going to have to learn to like the new logo since they aren't going to ask US about it.
Treasure...I agree. I'm a deputy, and fighting with these young kids sucks...and so does getting older. Glad I'm "mostly" behind a desk at this point in the career. Verbal Judo is king if you want to stay out of messes.

While I don't condone the abuse of any human being , including prisoner's , its amazing the length's gone to , to ensure these inmates rights. People have no idea the amount of abuse that correction workers deal with on a daily basis. But they are held to a higher standard and expected to endure it. Oh well.
Much like a teams Offense , these people learn how it works(the law) and come up with ways around it. It gets really frustrating sometimes because you know what they are doing but it is what it is. But that said , I draw the line the second hands are placed on me. The second it reachs that point , you have bought a ticket on the Treasure Coast Train and I'm punching your ticket! It is getting harder and harder to squeeze that ticket punch though. Oh well.......Comes a time for every player to walk away from the game I suppose. I'm not there yet.
