This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
It just wouldn't be Miami if they gave it to us on a silver platter. Its like that show Overhaulin. You get your car fixed up but you need to be tortured a bit to pay for it.
Honestly I don't care if we do or do not. Sorry bug after Buffalo @#$%& our tight little butt holes this coaching staff does not belong. I feel sorry for our players.
I just want the Fins to beat the Jets, then let everything else fall into place.
If Miami wins and doesn't get into the playoffs, then they didn't deserve to be there. I am tired (for the last 20 years or so) of Miami depending on other teams to do certain things so they can get to the playoffs. They had their chance to take care of their own business and failed to do so (Buffalo).
If Miami doesn't go, I am wondering who is worthy? Baltimore, who got trounced at home 41-7 by a Patsies team we beat last week, knowing that win and they're win? San Diego, whom we've already beat, and who has lost to Houston, Oakland and Washington this year?
Finshady, problem is that in order for us to go San Diego has to beat KC and that's really not likely.
Even moreso, even if we beat the Jets in the morning, then San Diego will know they are eliminated by the time their game starts and the only purpose of their winning would be to put us into the playoffs.

Yep.....Mckinny is doing their jobs. If Sherman would only get his fat ass out there and block I wouldn't give a shite.
I forgot to add to my post above that if Cincy beats Balt, then we probably go as well but Cincy's motivation would have to be based on a New England loss to Buffalo (har, har, har, if anyone thinks the Bills will beat the Pats particularly after what they did to us and New England having the motivation I describe next) because Cincy beat New England earlier this year and if they both end up with 5 losses, Cincy takes the 2nd seed.
So that might be possible but Balt will be fighting for their playoff lives.
One things for sure, we'll be channel flipping Sunday.....err unless the Jets blow us out early.
If the Pats take Buffalo , That's proof positive that they had the Jump on our offense. Something that we need a new coaching staff to fix. If this one could have fixed it they would have. 32 games ago.

Reports indicate that Reid won't play his starters very much, as is his MO in Phil. San Diego already beat them once this year, they can do it again, with an edge due to the starters not playing much.
San Diego is not going to throw in the towel just because they know Miami beat the Jets. There is pride and jobs on the line. Besides, do you honestly think Rivers is going to let his team slack?
Chryren have faith the football gods love irony. How's this for irony the phins get in with help from a team that has nothing to play for if we, and the Raven both win? Irony indeed.
