Playoff scenarios

Although we lost we have a fe scenariosthatnwe get in.

1) Miami win and Baltimore loss
2) Miami win , Baltimore win and San Diego win

3) I thought there is a scenario that we get in with a loss....
But apparently I am wrong ..can anyone explain why that is?

It has been said that the steelers get in at 8-8...in a five way tie?

Why?

We have the best conference record at 7-5 of all 5 teams.

Really Stevie with all due respect why would you post play off scenarios when we just lost to a Bills team with a triple AAA QB, and no wide receivers very badly I might add. What difference does it make this team will get killed if we make it. I would rather not make it so that this head coach, and that G. M. get canned like tuna baby.

The reason is because every team in the playoffs have had bad days.

I honestly chalk this up to poor play calling...

All changes if we beat jets next week...
And truthfully we can beat any of the teams in the postseason.

Look at Baltimore...do they deserve to get in?

They were humiliated at home by the pats who are missing half their team!
They lost 41-7. At HOME!

Pleeeeeaaaase !

One football game means nothing.

If we win next week , we need a little help..to get in

BTW..
We lose the 5 way tie because the jets won today and would have a better division record than us if they beat us!

Hopefully we take care of business next week.

Stevie I think he is assuming that we beat the Jets.

Right. I didn't look at SD's record.

I don't get it. Why does SD losing give Baltimore the tie breaker against us, but if SD wins we get the tie breaker?

Because Baltimore beat us during the season; they would win the tiebreaker if our records were the same at end of season.

And similarly, we beat SD during the season, so WE would win the tiebreaker if our record was the same as SD at the end of the season.

******************************************

The problem I see, Finshady, is that Miami played well in the majority of games. I believe in seven (?) games, they finished with a 4-point differential. Granted, they have yet to play like a Super Bowl team, but overall, they have played well.

The question is, which Miami team will show up in the playoffs (if they get there)?
