LOL. I had to take a 6 week hiatus from this place because of it. It was so obvious to me that many here were not even Dolphins fans , Just pats and Jets fans in disguise. I've been watching Tanny closely since he came out , Live and it was so apparent that he was a different athlete then any others before him. When he rolls out he is at his best. I'd like to see his completion stats on Bootlegging vs. staying in the pocket. He takes hits like a wide receiver, and he can tackle too. If you you think about it he is the most rounded QB in the league. Run, Pass, I think we need to get a Top OC next season though to really use him to his Top potential.

You were "tough" on Tannehill? Just admit it. You were WRONG about Tannehill. You had no insight and didn't see what 95% of the NFL saw.
Don't act like you are his QB coach and the reason he is better is because you were tough on him. LOL

Tanne is coming along fine, #6 uhh. I don't know how the hell PFF calculates their stats some folks live by them. I stick w/ the nfl official stats. Bottom line Tanne is starting to win games for us he is maturing. Hopefully next year players like Sims, Wallace and our new lb's will kick more *** after having a year in our system under their belts.
You mean the NFL.com QB rating that gave Alex Smith a perfect rating in part for throwing 3 dump-off passes (0 yards from scrimmage) to Jamaal Charles?
He also threw a 20 yards pass (wheel route) to Charles that went for a 71 yard TD.
So the running ability of Jamaal Charles makes Smith a perfect QB?
But if you want to stick with the "official NFL stats"....
Tannehill is 10th in yards, 8th in TD's, 10th in most passes over 20 yards and 4th in most passes completed over 40 yards AND 13th in completion %.
He also has four, 4th quarter comebacks this year alone.
That would seem to put him somehwere in the top 10...no?
The NFL QB rating also has Jake Locker, Sam Bradford, Colt MCCoy, Matt Flynn and Matt Cassell as "better" QB's.
The ESPN QBR rating penalizes QB's for every sack.
So one rating gives the QB credit for others work and the other assigns blame for others mistakes....but PFF is more flawed?
Some have said that PFF is meaningless because it's a bunch of people who have never played football, sitting around calculating stats. Does anyone think the other rating systems have Bob Griese and Don Shula in some room assigning value and numbers? Was the mathematical formula invented by Bill Walsh?

How many guys would you take, for the rest of their careers (not what they've done) ahead of RT today?
P. Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers, Luck, Rivers, Ryan, Flacco and maybe Newton?

This thread is headed to the poor house, and the out-house.
