We clinch the 6 seed

Makes no difference whether pats or Baltimore wins.

Actually prefer Baltimore wins


Key game for us to watch is the Vikings-bengals game

If pats lose , and we clinch, that could set us up for a possibility at the number 2 seed.

I read its a longshot BUT........if the Pats lose 3 and we win 3 we could possibly even get a a 1 week bye. But we only have a 25 to 1 chance of that happening.

With have a 76% chance of getting the #6 seed and making the playoffs.

Balty 8-6
Phins 8-6

So if cincy loses and we win and Baltimore wins we're all 9-6. if we lose and cincy beats Baltimore next week the bengals win the division and we're tied with balty at 9-7.

We'd be eliminated.

If we win out we're in.

we clinch if we win and both the ravens and bengals lose.

Miami is in with a win and a vikes win.

The Baltimore new England game is important, but does not affect clinching their spot.

If Miami wins and vikes win, the only way we get knocked out of the playoffs is if Baltimore and Cincy TIE in the last game.

A tie would knock us out ....

The odds of them tying are the same as tucker kicking 6 61 yard field goals again.

Stevie, I wish you had used another "chances of" than Tucker kicking another 61 yard field goal. He may turn out to be the George Blanda of his times.

The dude didn't sweat it a bit.

Coach goes over to him and says something like, "Do we kick or do I try for it on 4th down?"

And Tucker said something like "I got this."

And the coach said to the reporters something like, "It was like he was the coach. I mean, he was totally in charge."

That's the kind of confidence that one could only hope Sturgis and Carpenter would have had.

I believe Stevie meant another six (6) 61 yard field goals. That's a little tougher.
You would hope that his leg would get tired after 4 or 5.

RESPONSE: But Cincy has already lost THE FIRST GAME to the Ravens. If they lose again, Baltimore would have the head to head OVER Cincy for the division championship, leaving us in a tie with Cincy for the wild card spot and we beat them head to head.

That's no problem. But that would still leave us having to beat the Jesters in order to not end up with a worse record than Cincy.

But I guess that's your point when you say that we won't CLINCH with a win this week.
