That said, it's exciting to think that this gives an opportunity to Merling. Toward the end of the year, he looked like he was ready to take the next step and start. Re: Vonnie Holliday to be released....

When there are problems i am sure he is the one the younger guys turn to for guidance and is the link from them to management. Sure his tank was running low but his big brother on and off the field leadership we no longer have. I think this is a bigger loss than most realise.
