I should hope not, Darryl Lamonica wasn't a great QB. He wasn't even a great deep passer, he just did it a LOT and the law of averages ensured he hit enough of them to make it seem so. He had good deep receivers and an owner that insisted on throwing long more often than anybody else. Hence the nickname,"The Mad Bomber".

Not saying he was a great QB, but he was great at the deep ball (disagree with you on that) ...hence my saying that you don't have to be a great deep ball thrower to be a great QB and the fact as you point out that Darryl does not go down as one of the great QBs of all time proves that point in reverse.

And by the way, Rick, if you didn't get the point, I'm DEFENDING Tannehill. I may be attacking the hell out of the coaches but I'm defending Tanny.

See a big jump in Wallace in year two? That's a 10-4, but how big of a jump will depend on whether or not Philbin gets the OLine straightened out.

RT is a hard worker; if he has a problem, he will work hard to fix it. He and Wallace will work hard in the offseason to fix the problem, even if they have to do it on their own time.

RT gets comfortable back there because his OL can protect him, there's no telling how good he will be.

Cap, I have a nagging suspicion, not based on any facts, that he will never be comfortable in the pocket. His face even looks confused in the pocket. He looks scared and confused.....

but look at his confidence out in the open and on the run. Even when he throws on the run. He's great and you can see on his face that he is in his natural element.

Chyren- Tannehill is very strong in the pocket... That is his strength, reading the defense, making a check, sitting in the pocket, and making quick reads... That is what he does better then everyone else in his QB class... Pocket presence was a problem, but he has been doing better at that... Which has him moving the pocket and throwing on the run.... There are only a couple plays you can run, when rolling a QB out of the pocket, and you can't build an offense around them... The roll outs only work when teams don't anticipate it.. If they do, it is easy to cover and attack the QB..
