I don't know Sickofit, about Balt beating NE and/or Cincy. You may well be right.

All I know is that we can't end up tied with Balt for the last playoff spot.

And it makes no sense to root against your own interests just for the sake of pumping up yourself against a team simply because you play them next.

Like I said, if you can beat them, beat them but root for them to beat everybody else in competition, PARTICULARLY teams that have beaten you.

That's right...IF the season ended today. They have a tougher schedule than we do IMO. They finish the season vs Lions, Pats, Bengals. There's a very good chance they finish 7-9 and won't even be in the hunt come week 16.

We play Pit, Pats, Bills, Jets.

Jills had ball at 50. Pass to 35 complete but Falcons knock the ball out of receivers hand and recover fumble. Receiver just slams water bottle on sidelines.

Jills win coin toss, complete big pass and receiver gets ball knocked out of his hands, fumble recovery, Atl can win with a field goal although they are just at mid field.

Baltimore. Look I agree with the idea behind PITS and Baltimore's game. I am just saying that now Pittsburgh has this draft pick issue on top of losing to a heart breaking game is better for us in this circumstance in that we need to beat them. Baltimore will lose one too three of there remaining games.

So NE (9-3) is the number 2 seed as of right now. They need a loss so they will have the same record as the Bengals (8-4)...Cincy holds the tie-breaker since they already beat NE this year. That would mean no first round bye. Hopefully they end up with the 4th or 5th seed.

A Ravens loss is important to advance to the 6th slot, but lets not concede the division yet! Go Browns.

if we were somehow to make the playoffs i'd rather NE gets the 2 seed so we'd face either Cincy or Indy.

We'd get poleaxed in NE.

Which is why I was rooting so hard for the Steelers to beat them because we can take care of the Steelers ourselves and if we don't we're out anyway but the Ravens beat us.
