who in their right mind would want sanchize as a starter? can't think of one team. he's not a savvy vet and he's not a young guy with upside. he's basically garbage. your david carr comparison may even be a bit optimistic for him

His first two seasons in the league were pretty good to make it to the afc championship game. He may have been ruined but, there may be something left worth salvaging. I'd bring him in just to put him under the French fry lights and pick his brain.
