I think Holliday will be restructured soon. I think Porter has 1 more year in a Fins uniform and then will be cut or traded. I think that's why we've signed Wake and are likely still looking for a pass rushing OLB in the draft.

Porter will never get traded with his current contract

Porter gets paid 4.8 mil this year and I think his bonus was already paid for by Miami and is amortized against our cap this year....getting a 3-4 pass rusher for 4.8 is not a bad deal.

Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised to see him traded this offseason. Next year is an uncapped season, so his contract beyond this year may be irrelevant. At his age, he doesn't fit the long term plan in Miami. And he became very one dimensional in '08, totally abandoning run defense. After his Pro Bowl year, he'll likely never have higher value. If there is some team out there that thinks they are an outside pass rusher away from being a Super Bowl team, maybe they'd give up a late 1st rd pick or a 2nd rounder. And if that happened, I could definitely see Miami making that move.
