This is a moderated phorum for the CIVILIZED discussion of the Miami Dolphins. In this phorum, there are rules and moderators to make sure you abide by the rules. The moderators for this phorum are JC and Colonel.
Team was flat, they went away from what was working (quick passing game/no huddle), and most of all, he has no control of the team. I am so sick of watching this junk!
Why we don't have a rock solid o-line with solid back-ups is the sole responsibility of the GM. If that's not the mantra of the one in charge, a constantly crap team will be the result.
Let me add, take Philbin along with Sherman and please take that "Next Marino" QB with them. What a bunch of Losers. I hope Ross loses lots of money, maybe that will wake him up to the fact that he has a roster full of losers.
How about 2 Yards Rushing, now that's something to be proud of. Glad I did not spend my hard earned money going to the game to watch such a debacle!
How about Tannehill using Go for a pass and Go Go for a run. Doesn't take a lot of Intell for a defense to figure that out! Doesn't matter, he almost always under throws Wallace, throws the ball on the wrong side, holds the ball to long and takes a sack rather then throw the ball away.

Every week, Miami spends at least half of the game looking like a Junior Varsity squad. This team is not getting better, and I blame both coaching and talent (GM).

I mentioned that to my wife who doesn't know anything about football (she's still trying to get the 4 down thing right), and without me making a comment she said, "won't the other teams be able to figure that out?"
I think you start with Ireland. get rid of the final piece of trash from the parcells regime.
then you look at the coordinators and upgrade there. if that doesn't work the new gm will bring in his/her coach.
that's right. her.
dawn Aponte will be the first female gm in football and add tons of weight to this already sinking ship.
steven ross and his minority share owners, serena Williams, j-lo, and snoop dog will be lauded for breaking the gender barrier in professional football.
the national story will shift from bullying and racism to sexual harassment.

I think my DarthHoodie identity will resurface if anyone from this regime is retained in a management capacity for the 2014 season. Ross will be yet again on my dartboard and this time I will also pick up a Stephen Ross Voodoo doll.

because Philbin probably said, "Hey, that nice but now let's stop playing and get back to work."
Dictionary of Philbin: Work= something that does not work.
Think about this for a moment. If a boxer is constantly successful with his left hook and his opponent fails to adjust to it, the boxer would be an absolute moron to stop using it.
right, Colonel and use the "search" function with Lew Alcindor and Johnny Wooden and one can read a story I tell about that proving your point.
edited to add that story.
That was enunciated when Lew Alcindor was playing and the Bruins were running a certain play that was absolutely devastating the opponent.
The halftime score was a rout.
In the locker room at halftime, Alcindor spoke up and said, "What are we gonna do different in the second half, coach? They are bound to figure out that play."
John Wooden walked right up to him and said, "And when they figure it out, we'll do something different. But we're gonna keep running it, running it and running it until judgement day UNTIL they show they can stop it."

That's my biggest issue with Sherman. I don't disagree with the notion that you need balance on offense. I disagree with the idea that you run the ball for balance when you haven't been running it all day and your passing game is in rhythm.
He got away with it in the Colts game. But it bit him in the ass against TB. That sweep with Daniel Thomas on 1st and goal at the 7 after the Wilson int was horrible.
