I wish it would go away gate. Actually pulled my jersey out this morning to wear to work and put it back in the drawer. I am so frustrated w/ this team right now.
I still think that this has been blown way out of proportion. So far, all I know is that Martin has made some general statements about how he was mistreated by other players (although only one has been identified). The voice mail was in incredibly poor taste. I don't really know if Martin was "traumatized" by it. Have I heard anything that makes me believe that he really needed to check himself into a hospital? As an attorney myself, I know if you're going to be claiming emotional or psychological damages in litigation (where this is clearly headed) you're going to have your client medically evaluated and document the alleged damage. I suspect that the hospital admission is more for legal and not treatment purposes. The kind of media coverage this thing has gotten only proves that the media is hard up for a story because this one doesn't have earthshaking importance. Hopefully, Lindsay Lohen gets arrested for something this weekend so the media will have something else that's equally "important" to report about.
We don't know everything and there is enough history here w/ Incognito. Any casual observer knows this oline has failed to gell and there are reasons behind that. This is a poorly run team. I am not dumping everything on Martin. I don't think he needed to check in the hospital either but I am not him.
How to get paid even though I don't want to play/gate
