Not Victor.... but I think there are 3 scenarios....
1 Satele works hard and starts @ center over the new rookie we draft.
2 He is a back up at LG and C if Smiley is healthy...which means he will get some playing time.
3 He starts at LG because of athleticism and ability to pull.
I don't think he is a good fit for RG. Thomas is a beast and that's where we need strong run blockers....not Satele's strong suit. No way he beats him out.

I think Smiley will be slower coming back from the injury than he's letting on. Satele will probably start in his place when the season opens.
We need some more BAD ASS SPECIAL TEAMERS TOO! A nickle DB or 2.
SILB- #25?
WR2 -This has gotta be LAVERN, its just the best fit. Unless you wanna draft someone. I would draft a WR too, theres a few good ones.
WCB -Bryant McFadden is the best CB out there, but he may try and break the bank. CB is a position where IMO we need some experieince, he and his represntation should be smart enough to give us a hometown discount.
C - #25?

If it happens, it will be after the draft and someone is able to beat him out of his spot...they need justification to do it so it won't effect the locker room as much...same for Holliday.
I had thought about the later trade, too. However, I don't know how anyone would beat him out of his spot w/o training camp.
If I were the trifecta, I would listen to any deal that came along. They were able to get a 'next year' 2nd+ for Taylor, who didn't want to be here anyway, so they're clearly shrewd trade negotiators. If someone came in with a 'this year' 2nd before the draft, they'd probably be very tempted to pull the trigger. If it was a 'next year' 2nd, it's roughly equivalent to a 'this year' 3rd (like Taylor's).
I don't think that's quite enough value for Porter. But, I'm just an outsider looking in.

I agree that Porter has only downside from here on out, but I seriously doubt anyone in their right mind is going to give up a 2nd rounder for him...Not even Al Davis. Best we could get for Porter is a low 4-5th rounder.
