The Phins 45 minutes ago signed Gibril Wilson formerly of the Oakland Faders, a safety. I don't know how good he is.

I was hoping the Phins would sign Jim Leonhard of the Baltimore Ravens who is a real sparkplug of a player. He is always a competitor, just like Yeremiah Bell who would be my first choice to keep on the team.

Not a "new" signing, but the Phins agreed to a new 4 year contract with Yeremiah Bell $20 million, $10 miln gteed.

I really like Bell, and I am happy we were able to keep him on the team.

A friend of mine who is a longtime diehard NYGiants fan told me he didn't care that much about Gibril Wilson...he was glad the guy left for Oakland. I sure hope Wilson can put up some big defensive numbers for us.
