Thursday, 31 Oct we play the Bengals before a National (Halloween) TV audience. The Bengals are thriving and won Sunday.

After being out coached and out played in the second half against the Patriots we need to regroup to play hard on Thursday. After losing 4 consecutive games, will it be loss #5 against the Bengals?

On 11 Nov we play the Bucs. They are hapless; we should win that game.

Following those games we play 7 more:
SD
Panthers
Jets (their place)
Steelers (their place)
Patriots
Bills (their place)
Jets

How many of these games will be Dolphins wins? Here's a poll:

I think I'm being overly optimistic in picking for us to equal last year's record. Even that might not be doable. What was to have been the easiest stretch of our schedule suddenly seems daunting.

We win Cincy.

and we win one of the following two (SD or Panthers).

I hope I'm wrong.

The magic number for this team is 7. They are now 3-4 and must be 10-6 for a realisitc shot at the playoffs.

But does anyone think this team is truly capable of going 7-2 here on out?

We win eight games this season to finish 8-8. If we get things together soon we can win even more.

I still can't see the optimism concerning this team.

During this 4-game losing streak (and probably 5 after Thurs), it is basically the same team (with the exception of McKennie). Same problems over and over. Coaching staff has done little to change things. Again, they have been stubborn in even thinking about making changes (again, with the exception of McKennie).

BTW, so far, Clabo will be starting at RT for Martin this Thurs, as Martin supposedly has some sort of illness and has not been practicing.

Until the coaches make some personnel changes, I don't see much positive for the Fins this season.

I DEFINITELY hope I am wrong!!!!moody smiley

In my case, optimism starts and stops with the fact that we've been competitive in every game this season.

We may have had second half meltdowns, first half gaffes, slow starts, mistakes, bad luck, injuries, poor play calling, player miscues, coaching mistakes, biased referees, etc. But we have been competitive...that's a great place to start and to build from.

We just have start making progress with respect to getting things figured out...that's the challenge.

We're done. Our O-Line is gone. This season is over.

Imagine how Ross feels. He just spent 100 million on this mess.
All I did was wait patiently through the offseason.

This team is doing the titanic tank job... we're in the running for #1 pick IMO.

It's that bad. And even worse. Hard to believe. But true.

3 and oh seems like 100-years ago.

3 and thirteen is a #1 dream.

It'll probably be 10 years before the league gives this team another national game -- too embarassing even for the fixed N F L.

Ross wanted a 3 ring circus act and he got one.

Albeit he probably overpaid by 2 or 3 zeros.

All we need now is a flying trapeze act at halftime and elephant shit on the field.

Peanuts? Did I hear "peanuts!"

Well, Jacksonville and Tampa have us beat record-wise. Even if we don't win another game, I think we'll be out of the running for the #1 pick.

I think we can out suck jax and tampa... We've got a legit shot at being incredibly horrible!
