While it will not be announced in the media until late Thursday/early Friday...Parcells did resign FS Bell.
Good move, he was the glue to our defense...and surely would have been playing agaist us twice a year .
Don't know the amount, though did hear $ 6 million, just not sure if thats bonus or not.
Dolphins will not announce until later, due to salary cap manuevers.

Yes i thought of that too.
I hope she is right!
I would not want bell as a pat jet or bills and have to face him twice a year. You know the jets and pats have a knack for signing dolphins castoffs. Bell is not a castoff. He is a great player. It would be a shame to let him go somewhere else.
We have to sign our own best first ,then concentrate in the draft and free agency.
Personally i would rather we had signed bell instead of crowder. Thats just me though. Don't get me wrong i like crowder but i think bell is just superior.
I heard on the radio yesterday crowders phone wasn't ringing off the hook with offers from other teams.
I hope the Dolphins will agree to a new long term contract with Yeremiah Bell, he is one of my favorite members of the team because he is always a competitor. If for some reason the team can't complete a successful contract with Bell, I would urge the Dolphins to go sign Jim Leonhard of the Baltimore Ravens. Leonhard is also a guy like Bell who is always a competitor, and gives his all to the team in every game. I am a Wisconsin graduate, and I have watched Leonhard play football in college there, and he was unbelievably good. The guy always has his motor running. If we can't keep Bell, by all means, sign Leonhard to our team.
Mando has the story on Miami Herald's website: Bell will remain a Dolphin $20 million contract, $10mm guaranteed.
We are spending $$$$$, but Bell is worth it.
