They are definitely offensive. This isn't correctable. The Dolphins will fall flat on their faces during the rest of the year. If you can't run block or protect the quarterback, then there is no hope. We will end up with a high draft pick. Who are the offensive linemen available?

Under the prior regime we drafted offensive linemen forever and that wasn't that long ago. And this regime did the same picking Martin and Pouncey. So, I don't know what to say.

Not sure what's going on with the O-Line...except that they stink.

They suck and can't block to save their lives.

We are probably going to have to look into free agency as well as the draft. Right now we have problems at 4 of 5 positions. If Martin can handle the right side that leaves 3/5 positions.

Maybe the o-line coaching is bad. As well as other coaching too. If players don't improve, then the coaching should be held accountable to some extent as well.

how many freaking high draft picks have we spent on this OL and it is still the worst in the league?

Pouncy---15th overall, only good player
Jerry--3d round bust, took over Jimmy Graham
Martin---2d round scrub
Dallas Thomas---the Egnew of the OL, 3d rounder I said WTF when we picked him
Jake Long #1 overall and now sucking for rams

let's not forget other scrubs like Sean Murphy and $$ wasted on Clabo, Columbo etc

how hard is it to pick some freaking OL? isn't it supposed to be easiest position to fill?

Sherman sucks!

LOL.

Our offensive line IS 'OFFENSIVE',

BUT

our defensive line is "NOT DEFENSIVE."

i agree with the play calling. we don't move wrs around. we run long developing routes when we know the oline can't block.

and most importantly we do not establish any semblance of a running game. the first half of the saints game we were committed to the run and that is when tannehill had his best protection. if you abandon the run the d will rush at will.

tanne also has to learn how to take off and run. 3 one thousand...if the route isn't their he needs to run for his life or maybe throw the ball away.

same ole phins.

They should replace Clabo with Nate Garner. How Clabo ever made a pro bowl is beyond me. No way was Garner any worse last year when he started at RT.

Losers always have a reason to lose.

It's more than obvious our coaching staff is short on solutions
and long on reasons why players don't get their job done.

The dude that is 100% responsible for the product on the field is:

Philbin.

The dude that is 100% responsible for any and ALL talent deficiencies is:

Ireland.

Pick your poison. Because right now -- this team is stalled and falling from the sky.

It's bye time.

And maybe so long pretty soon…

BNF.

I am not sure I want to see Garner. Maybe Garner at G and slip Jerry to RT. Replace Jerry w/ a guy whose ex team questions his toughness is dumb ass. The people who are complaining about Jerry are idiots. This guy might be our best olineman after Poncey. That's not saying much but..

I hope we do not win another game.

Even if we by some miracle make the playoffs, we are going to get embarrased with this Oline.

Well I think we have a good football team, but I think
Philbin needs to go into this buy week and make some hard decisions.
1. First Fire The Offensive line coach
2. Next find A better line coach
3. Repeat if necessary

Tboneabbott

If you're mad at your kid, you can either raise him to be a nose tackle or send him out to play on the freeway. It's about the same.

Tannehill needs to learn how to scramble in the pocket and buy time...The OL is terrible but he makes it even worse than it is.

He is sitting there just waiting to be sacked.

He doesnt have any type of pocket awareness whatsoever.

I would fire the play caller right now!

Why Thomas is still out there often is nuts.

Well, everyone agrees our OLine has some serious problems. Everyone agrees that during this bye, Ireland and Philbin have to do something about it.

If improvement cannot be made, the coaching staff should make one very important adjustment (IMO): restructure the playbook to where RT gets the ball out sooner. Bing, bang, boom...ball is gone.

(1) That will help alleviate the sacks (2) OL won't have to hold their blocks (when they block) as long (3) quick passes "should" get the defenders closer to the line to allow Wallace, et al, to get down the field without so much traffic.

Just my opinion, of course.
