Any TE's worth a damn

because we are going to need one real soon. Anybody got a name that could help. I say Kevin Boss if healthy, and maybe Evan Moore. Hell if Keller is done for the season then I don't know if this team can recover. The pre-season is B. S., and that Texans player is a little bitch for hitting our man low.

I hate the Texans every time we play them it's bad luck. I hope the player that hurt keller can live with his stupid act of deliberately hitting low.

Evan Moore was released by the Eagles back in April, due to 90 man roster cuts...

Time for our young guys to step up, Sims, Egnew and Clay.......NEXT!
And if losing Keller dooms our season, then we were never good to begin with, it sucks but we'll be alright.

Moore has been disappointing the last 2 years, can't block, but better than nothing

I hate Egnew, he is an airhead. Let's find a TE, or convert a big WR to one..something has to be done to replace Keller.

Clay is a physical clone of Keller. He is the most likely to fill the role but he needs to be more consistent.

So much for the idea of getting both on the field at the same time.

This puts more pressure on Wallace, Hartline and more notably Brandon Gibson. They are going ot have to pick up the slack. The good new is that Wallace seems to be ready to perform.

It is unlikely that we will be able to replace Keller. More likely that we replace our #3 TE as the other two move up.

I'm not and never have been convinced Keller was the answer to one of our problems. His rep has always been that he couldn't block your grandmother, and a TE must be able to block once in a while, or he becomes useless as a decoy.

I think we are going to trade I like Celek if he does not come at too steep of a price.

I got it bulk up Jeff Fuller who played with Tanne at A&M. Hell why not might be what's needed to help both players adjust.

Finshady, I was thinking the same thing. If I were Fuller , and on the bubble, I would be learning multiple positions, makes you more valuable

Jeff Fuller is 6'4 220 lbs, he's probably never played TE at any level in his entire life, and certainly hasn't been asked to line up and block a 270+lb DE or 240+lb LB and some of you guys want to convert him to TE 2 weeks before the season starts?

OMG.

This isn't Madden football guys.

Besides, we ALREADY have a project like that on our roster in Egnew we don't need another, especially when there is no way on God's green earth he'd be ready to play TE in the NFL in two freakin weeks.

Fuller would need an entire season to bulk up, or, at least, the full off-season. No way he could switch to TE NOW.

Yes. Its unfortunate, but that's what happens when you lose a starter to a season ending injury. You either replace from within or you look to catch lightning in a bottle with a veteran player who is on the street.

Their will be alot of decent TE's getting released or teams looking to trade them. I think we are going to get a decent stop gap for at least this year.

I would love to face Houston in the playoffs and exact some revenge. It's a long time coming.

Man if we get that far then yes that would be great. Until then we have alot of games to win if we even want to make the playoffs.

First of all -- for those who can remember -- consider what Shannon Sharpe accomplished in his transition from WR to TE. Now keep in mind the available "vitamins" have only gotten BETER since Shannon went on his notorious aggressive "nutritional jihad."

Heck, with a bit of dietary planning and anaerobic strategy, Fuller could add 20-25lbs of lean muscle mass by turkey day!

It can happen. All you've got to do is believe!

Tomorrow is ALWAYS more awesome.

Big Nasty. Fish. But getting bigger. And nastier.

Believe?.HAHA

I think he better get on the weight room and eat like $h!T to gain 25 pounds. LOL

Its not easy to gain 25 pound for these guys....They burn a huge ammount of calories in those 2 a days everyday.

Lets just hope there is a decent TE released soon or on the bubble. I'm sure Ireland has been all over it the second Keller was carted off the field.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

Yes the Eagles have James Casey, Brent Celek, Clay Harbour, and Zach Ertz

on their roster, and they are going to the new fast wave offense that does

not use the tight end extensively. So which of these fellows would you

take or even trade for. I heard that Celek might be the odd man out. I

would take Celek over Dustin Keller anyway. So if we get one of the

then it's problem solved, and depth solved. Anyway how can one team

have that many good tight ends?

I bet you people are saying the same thing about our DLine.

I guarantee you if we were as good on offense as we are ondefense we be favorites to go to the superbowl....Unfortunately it is what it is.

We are a work in progress offensivelly.

Charles Clay is not the answer for the TE position. The man graduated from Tulsa, but the only job he could get before waiting for the draft was cutting grass on a riding lawnmower. Let's just say Clay did not get a degree in rocket science just saying. Sometimes you can be under intelligent for a position like Clay, and cost your team with mental mistakes like Clay. We Need a smart Athletic TE, and this week I bet wet get one.
