He is definitively & definitely Ireland's BEST signing -- by a country mile.

He's also the TOTAL package -- being highly intelligent, a class act, super hard worker, great for the young dudes, and a great story as well…Oh yea, and he can knock the coitusback on her ass!

It was on a holiday such as labor day. He posted from the gym a Tweet saying something like "no cookouts for me, only workouts"

He should be the perfect example of why we as a fan base should have patience with some of our young players, if he would of been drafted, he would of been run out of town as a bust.

On a completely unrelated topic (sarcasm intended), word has it that J. Odrick is having the best camp of anyone...........just saying.

He took time to develop Sam, I guess I had the post of people writing D Jordan off already because he's resting his shoulder on my mind when I typed that.
Remember the posts of Odrick being a bum? Or of D. Thomas being a bum (now he's pushing to start)?, Egnew is coming around........get my point? We need to give these guys (Tannehill and Martin included) time to develop, by the standards of instant stardom expected around here, Cam Wake would of been written off as well.

D Jordan---trade up, #3 overall
Odrick---1st rounder
D Thomas---2d rounder, trade up

big difference. High draft picks are expected to produce, not play in Canada 3 years honing their skills. Wake wasn't drafted by anyone.

It shouldn't matter where you are drafted. Once you are on a team, the draft is over and you're the same as anyone else. A coach or GM who keeps a player simply because of his draft position is an idiot. Keep the most talented players on the roster and let them develop.

In a perfect world that would be true but in the real world the same guy who chose him, the bust that is, is gonna wanna to hold him as long as possible or trade him for as much as he can get. That takes time.

Doesn't work that way, tho.

First and Second round picks always get the benefit of the doubt. Good example? Pat White.

Yes.

They brought him in as a UFA. He was a 3-4 OLB back then and he couldn't cover in space at all so he got dumped.
