I was part of the conference call with Coach Philbin last night, and I did get to ask him a question.

Few things I took away:

I love this Coach. He has the right attitude. Very confident, openly talked about our weaknesses and how we needed to improve in those areas.

I felt he answered every question directly and frank, while never beating around the bush.

All I want from Philbin is the same from Tanny, win games. Great guy, great attitude kicks players in the a**. Its all bs right now.

Odenn, I bought season tickets a couple year ago in the nose bleed section, honestly, I haven't even made it to a game yet. But I stubhub all the tickets...so I break even financially, but I do get access to all the other things season ticket holders get. It's actually pretty cool.

Dolphaholic, I asked him "how important is it to get off to a fast start considering the first 4-6 weeks are brutal, I do realize week in and week out is tough, but specifically speaking of those first 4-6 games?"


He answered my question directly and didnt beat around the bush, he even called me "an intelligent caller" ....LOL.

Must have been cool talking to Philbin. I enjoy watching his interviews - I like what he's doing and that he's working with the GM nicely. I love the philosophy he has of fast & versatile players, I'm really hoping it all pays off.
