knowshon will be on the board. he will probably go after beenie wells and no RB is projected to go higher than 20.
a 1st round RB would be a big waste for us. no way we do it.

Uhh...Ronnie was drafted #2 overall, and he's still young. We drafted 3 RBs last year!!! Do we REALLY need another high-priced RB on the roster?
Young? He will be 30 by the end of next season (12/2010) and backs with his smash mouth running style don't have long careers as starters.
Ask Shaun Alexander and Duece McAllister how life as a RB is at 30?
Cobbs is a great compliment but not an every down back.
Ricky is older than both.
I'm sure we will just use a 2nd day pick on one but if they are smart (and they are) they will keep trying to find that diamond in the rough. Someone who can be had later in the draft who has speed that can be groomed to start in two years or at least lighten the load for Ronnie.
That way, at the last minute, we aren't trying to find a RB again for the next 10 years. Remember all the backs before before Ricky?
I dont agree with you one bit Phinsfan. If RB or BPA situation fell to us this year, its not a year we would do that. Next year...maybe. Not this year though.
If Knowshon was to fall to us, you trade down. And pick up another first round pick in next years draft.
Beyond those four, the Dolphins are intrigued by -- and have spent a lot of time with -- North Carolina's 6-1 Hakeem Nicks, a strong, physical receiver (1,222 receiving yards, 12 TDs in 2008). He's a possibility at No. 25. They have high regard for Ohio State potential second-rounder Brian Robiskie, a polished route-runner with great hands and good size at 6-3. And Dolphins scouts have given positive feedback to 6-3 Gators receiver Louis Murphy's representation.
Rutgers' Kenny Britt also is in the mix -- though questions about his maturity and work ethic (plus a history of dropped passes) must be measured against the positives: - Miami Herald
Everyone is choosing their favorite LB for the #25 choice, but we've added a couple nice LB already in resigning Crowder and WAKE. And we may see another like BOBBY CARPENTER coing in on a DRAFT DAY trade.
I would still like to see the PHINS sign CB BRYANT MCFADDEN. Adding a talented shutdown CB before the DRAFT would make our choice very interesting.
The NFL network said today on path to the draft that the phins have a chance at VONTAE DAVIS CB #25. IMO NOW WAY HE'S THERE, he's a top 10 pick.
RAMSES BARDEN is BIG and FAST and would be ideal at 87, but he'll be gone by then. ROBISKIE is moving way up in the draft, we'd be lucky to snag him #44.
that be stupid? we will be able to pick up smith in second round, hell might even trade up if we need to? lol take a LB in first period, there will either be mathews, english, laurinitous, conwin? i mean THERE IS ALOT of solid talent which we can get at 25. use our second on a WR, and third on CB, simple. effictive, beautiful.
