I don't want that cry-baby here in Miami.

Cry baby or not, Miami has had trouble dealing with big men down low. That's how Indiana got the games they did. Adding a dominant big man to this squad even if wade's knees are to the point that he isn't a factor next year, the Heat would be a given for a finals appearance.

We need a big guy that can play defense, ala Tyson Chandler. Howard would be unhappy sharing the ball with Lebron, Wade, etc..

Looking at the potential UFA's for next season, here are some options for the Heat:

Chris Kaman

Emeka Okafor

Joel Przybilla: To bring some size off the bench

Lamar Odom: Primarily as a replacement for the bird-man, whom I expect will be offered a big contract to sign elsewhere.

Barring a trade, the Heat will not be adding any free agents above the league minimum for the 2013-2014 season.

The cap for next year is around 58M. The Heat have around $86M on guaranteed money spent for next year.

The only way they get around the cap is if they have a mid-level exemption for next year that they can spend on one guy or even a few guys.

Without that, they can't add anyone who wants to get paid above league minimum.

Okay. Let's see about the Spurs. The format is the old baseball 2 then 3 then 2 and the Heat have home field advantage.

With this format, if you have the advantage, you really are in a deep hole if you lose EVEN one of the first two.

In fact, I'd rather go 2-0 first at home and then lose the 3 at the visitors and comeback home down 3-2 with two games to play than to split at home 1-1 and go into their home for three straight games.

I didnt pay Sam they weren't my tickets, they were part of a birthday present from GNR Baby, they are his families season tickets, I got lucky his wife just had another baby about 2 weeks ago... I think he was thinking about selling them tonight for around ten grand a ticket. He is smart enough that is someone wants to pay you stupid money for your tickets, you sell..... GNR baby makes money from all of his season tickets, DOlphins and Heat.. I think he sold his BCS tickets in JRS for around 25 thousand for the Bama ND game.. He paid for all of his tickets for one year just from that game which he could care less about.. he has a good hustle going with it... it works if they continue to go to the finals every year and have BCS games like ND..
