The film study is good to hear, the lovefest between Tannehill and Wallace right now is pretty funny, lets hope it continues after Tannehill overlooks Wallace a couple times...lol... Although Tannehill seems like a pretty balance guy on the field.. I'd almost like to see a little more fire from him, ala Marino in the 4th qts. I think Tannehill has the raw talent to be as good as Big Ben.. However Ben's pocket awareness, ability to extend plays was there since his rookie year and pretty remarkable. RT has a ways to go IMO getting that feel for pressure and shuffling around, step up, scramble etc... We shall see, studying himself should only help understanding where he should have gone when he felt pressure... More weapons should help give him more solid options to get rid of the ball. I am looking forward to it all playing out this season..

This is the quote I like from the article:

Tannehill says he has also spent a large amount of time this offseason trying to improve his footwork. "I'd say 90 percent of throwing a football are the feet," he explained.

Early in his career, someone asked Marino what made him successful, and Marino replied it was he feet. He understood the value of good footwork, and it looks like Tannehill does too and is working to improve it.

I think THill will be a better leader now with his rookie season behind him. He didn't have a whole lot of experience to begin with, but he's committed to studying hard and becoming better. He has the tools, and now he has more weapons. I think he'll improve quite noticeably this season.
