Amazing how many teams are steering away from over 30 players. Dansby was "the prize" FA just a few years ago. It kind of reinforces cutting him....the fact that he was available for so long....and only signed a one year contract. Burnett on the other hand was signed very quickly.

Agreed especially since he did almost make no plays last year. He wa s a stiff and thats why we were so bad. Im glad you are seeing the light.
Also as much as it hurts you we signed the ravens best linebacker.

Agreed. It is just amazing how our smart front office can recognize that the player they signed not just two years before has gone down hill rapidly in a most unexpected fashion. I'm sure they did all they could to trade him both prior to last season and then during the season. But with no takers - who wants an over the hill LB? - they just rode it out and let him go.

He was obviously the Ravens best LB. Otherwise, Ireland wouldn't have signed him.

So.......please explain that statement. Can you say or do anything except , Ireland is bad....blah Blah blah? Maybe you believe Channing Crowder was a better way to go? Here is your chance to step out and gain some respect. Tell us why Dannell Ellerbe was NOT a good move by Jeff Ireland .
Does he step out from under the rock or slither back under it?
Its all you DB........

I agree with this. He is clearly in decline. I like to use the "Madden" scale which rates a player from about 30(worst possible)- to 100 (best possible)
Dansby when we signed him was probably around an 85(good,solid Player) then the next season he became around an 82(solid but mediocre), and every season his skill on the field dropped off noticeably.
This last season in 2012, he would probably been rated around a 74(below average 2nd stringer). This upcoming season according to the trend he has set I estimate he would be around a 68-72...(barely 3rd string quality).
On the other hand Dolphins management added guys to the roster that have the potential to be better than what they have shown. As long as the injury bug doesn't strike, I expect big things from this Football club.

Ireland wouldn't have signed any other LB but the best. Ireland is a great GM and this front office knows exactly what it is doing. This team is going to the Super Bowl.

So you are either not intelligent enough to form a decent reply to your statement , or your only worth here is to troll . I'm going with both.
