The weapons he will have to work with this season are far better than last year.

Crowder i missed it or else i would not had made this thread.

I just read it yesterday.......about the promise sherman made.

Just look at it this way..........tannehills best receiver last year is probably going to be the second or third best this year. Hartline

we got or signed a good receiving first string TEnd.........dont know about blocking though.

Need to fix RT problem.....That scares me...

And the running game still in the air....I hear good things about the runner we drafted. real good things...

Overall to improve definetely 2 things....2 things that scares me

1. Improve running game

2. Improve RT position.

everything else is ok.

A couple of points about this statement;

First, I don't think Sherman is going out any great limb here with this comment, of the 5 rookie QB's that started last year, he has the most potential to improve his game and stats, Luck/RG3/Wilson all had excellent rookie seasons, don't see any of them making a huge jump from here on out, they will all be steadily getting better year from year. Weedon, IMO was at his ceiling when they drafted him, can't see him getting a whole lot beter (escpecially with what the Browns added on offense for him?). Add in all of the weapons Miami added, and Tannehill is almost a lock to make the most improvement.

Secondly, what has me most excited about Tannehill, is his smarts and work ethic. 95% of the highly drafted QB's that are busts (OK, i'll admit, I pulled that number out of my ass), are because they are stupid, lazy or more into partying then they are at getting better, can't see any of those 3 being a problem with RT. Last year was his Sr. season/ rookie season all rolled up into one, can't wait to see how this kid looks this year.

Yes good points dolphaholic............Tanehill has the best chance of been the most improved between last years rookie qbs..

All the other qbs that were drafted would have to have really huge years numbers wise as opposed to tannehill that had good numbers but his td int ratio wasnt all that good...

He has the chance because of a very good surrounding cast thats put in place for him.

I agree. Good Point again.

1. You call it a dumb trade even before dion jordan has a chance of playing one pre season down.

2. You call it a dumb trade when he only gave a second rounder to move up from 12th to 3rd.

No wonder people say you are not a dolphin fanatic.

You hate the phins and want only for all their moves to come crashing down the fan base faces.

You are too obvious DK.

The reason for your hate is THE REAL DEAL TANNEHILL refused to give you an autograph right?

Why would he give you an autograph when you had a
DAM NEW YORK JET FANS JERSEY on.

The real deal probably laughed at your face and felt sorry for you, for all you are about to endure as a jet fan...... But NO AUTOGRAPH

Get ready to wear the jet jersey on proudly along with a supermarket paperbag to cover your face.

GO PHINS.

Sam, pretty sure dk gets his rocks off by responses like yours, just ignore him and he'll have to go back to pulling his pickle to Back Street Boys videos.

We don't like the message. Or the fact that you keep making it over and over and over. We get it. Why do you keep coming back if you are such a poor Victim? Because you have an agenda. Its not the message. Its to dampen and try to ruin the excitement that's building around the Miami Dolphins. The Jets and Pats are headed straight for the shitter . That's my message. And you can't do Jack shit about it. eye popping smileytongue sticking out smileygrinning smiley

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I don't care about your opinion. You are welcome to it, and I won't even threaten you or diss your family members. I think you're wrong about a lot of stuff. So far, the facts back up my opinions. Anyone who has taken off their Aqua and Orange sunglasses for just a moment can see this.

I hope you are right: Stephen Ross is a good owner, that Ireland knows what he is doing, and that Tannehill will be an elite QB. But so far, records and statistics and the general buffoonery of the front office has shown otherwise.

Miami Dolphins. Always Perfect.

Duly noted. Now we shouldn't see you back here unless you have something new to contribute then right? Because all you seem to do is make the same statement over and over in different threads trying to dampen the sprit and excitement after the draft. You can't disguise your true agenda anymore.

Go back and read my posts from yrs back when Henne was the QB and Tony Bag of doughnuts was our coach. I was hardly wearing any sunglasses. I was livid when they didn't draft Ryan Mallet. But now we drafted a young athletic QB and its exciting. Why can't you be excited about it if you area true Dolphins fan? Because your not. Its clear as this sunny Blue Florida day.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

DK, THIS season will tell us if you are right or wrong, so how about letting it go until the end of the season?

Same M.O. as usual. Dolphins do good you won't see him. If they lose he will come around. That's Closet Pats/Jets fan M.O.

We did well in the draft , have reasons to be excited.......here he is. That's what he does. I only wish Curt and J.C. would do more about it.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
