Tebow, fair or not, won't be signed on for any role on any team any time soon. Word around the league GM's is Tebow is "radioactive". I dunno about you guys, but when a player is described as radioactive, I think that means he's most likely not going to be signed.

He needs to pull a Flutie and head north for a few years. CFL is a pass happy league and it would do him well to be forced into a situation were he had to throw 50 times a game for a few seasons.

GM for one of the CFl teams said Tebow would not be a starter in CFL.

Whoever he was doesn't look at facts. Tebow is a year removed from winning a playoff game in the NFL. He's got the "it" factor when allowed to take command.

No offense to anyone, but its a bad idea.

We were having trouble selling tickets last year and we had ZERO interest in trading for him when Denver made him available.

Maybe the stadium project changes that equation a little this year, but I doubt it.

He's shown little inclination, and less ability, to play a different position. He's too old to go on the practice squad.

Its just a bad idea to bring that circus to town as a tryout at TE, and its a worse Idea to bring him here as a QB when we are trying to develop a kid we drafted last year.

If the team is worried about selling seats, then win games.

They've take a lot of steps in that direction this off-season. Bringing in the travelling circus that is Tim Tebow could easily destroy a lot of what they've done over the last year to position this team to succeed.

Think about this....look around the league at the backups and 3rd stringers. People going to tell me they are better than Tebow?

As you said, Odenn, Tebow led the Broncos to the playoffs, with surrounding help, of course, and beat the Steelers in the first playoff game. Orton started the season at QB; where would Denver have been if Orton remained the QB for the whole season?

Tebow is a winner....he's been winning since his Pop Warner days. He was a winner in the NFL.

Sure, he is not your classic QB, either pocket passer or today's type of QB, but he can play QB. The Jets are the one's who dropped the ball this past season. They are the one's who have put Tebow on the path to where he is right now. I think some of it also has to do with the constant discussion of Tebow on ESPN between Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless.

True, he is presently a polarizing figure, but that is due to the circus in New York (and that Clown Car, driven by Rex).

I think he could start for some team in the Canadian Football League, hone his game, then re-enter the NFL with a few years.

Tebow sucks as a QB guys. (that little black dot after "guys" stands for PERIOD!) Why would anybody want him (and the QB controversy his fan base causes) on our team? He's not a TE, LB, FB or any other position, he's a QB, and a bad one at that.

I believe Tannehill is the face of this franchise. We don't need a 3rd string Qb or backup TE causing a distraction because he took his shirt off in practice or spoke at a pro life rally.

The media is bad enough in Miami. Gibsonton, Florida is for circus folk....not Miami.

I like the kid and wish him the best but we don't need the headaches. Our stadium will fill up once we start beating the hell out of everyone.

I like Tebow, but there really isnt a position he plays that we need him at... WE have a young QB, a strong back up in Matt Moore. We have a bunch of TEs, and we have a couple good guys to play the FB position.. Besides all that, he only wants to play QB, so it doesnt make any sense we sign him...

Sorry Cap but I have to disagree.

Tebow isn't better than most of the back up QB's. He's a winner, but he can't read defenses and could well be the least accurate passer in the league.

its one thing if you are going to tailor an offense to his limited strengths and win with defense like Denver did. its another thing to put him in a west coast system like ours and expect him to make fast, correct decisions and to deliver accurate passes in space.

Add to that the media circus and acolytes who follow him around and he's far more disruptive to the development of a young QB like Tannehill than he'd ever be beneficial as a 3rd QB.

He's just not worth it.

If I was New England, with a HOF QB and HC then I MIGHT consider it because I'd be in a position to say to the media to piss off, I'm not talking about our 3rd string QB.

Not a lot of teams are in that position.

He'd be better off in Canada honing his craft or learning a new position.

Like I've said, he should pull a Flutie and go to the CFL for awhile. I don't think he will though. He's going to sit and wait for someone in the NFL to sign him.

I've never thought it was even close to happening, but what's amazing to me is how many people think it would actually be a good idea to sign him? It's a phenomenon that's mind boggling to me, is it solely based on religion?

Sorry TCPF, but as a pro QB, he stinks.

Yes they were 7-4 with him at QB but he had only 12 TD passes in 11 games ALONG with the worst completion % for a starting QB in the league (46.5%). He threw for a measly 123 yards per game. hand had a sub par passer rating of 72.9, largely because he threw only 6 int's.

Sure you can argue that he might have gotten better, that young players usually do. I'm sure some would even point out that RT only had 12 TD's last year (as a rookie, vs Tebow ans a 2nd year player). And yes, he did make a few big plays in the 4th quarter that season and played well in the playoffs but the fact is that Denver's defense and special teams CARRIED them that season. Tebow wasn't anything special.

If their Kicker wasn't making 50 yard FG's like they were PAT's that season and their defense wasn't holding teams under 17 most weeks, Tebow would have been booed off the field.

You guys are entitled to your opinions. Ryan Leaf? He stinks. Pat White? He stinks. Chad Henne........I could go on and on. Tebow has accomplished something everywhere he has gone and was given a chance. He does not Stink. His a winner and winners do not stink. Unless maybe you are Trent Dilfer. grinning smiley Iave seen Tebow line up against us, we know whats coming. Our Defense practiced against the wildcat weekly. And Tebow scored everytime. You either believe in Jesus or admit he does not stink. Or Both.

At this point: I'm left wondering if Jesus' feet stunk?

Another point: Tebow made his messy messianic bed so now we'll see if the Easter Bunny is real.

Last point: some say there's evidence Jesus had antifungal properties.

We must have watched a different game versus the Phins TCPF. I remember Tebow had a god-awful game against us until we went to a prevent defense with 5:28 left and a 15-0 lead.

In the first 55 minutes of that game tebow had 40 (not a typo, FORTY!) yards passing.

Then Tony fist pump called off the dogs, we went soft on coverage and he put together a drive. Fine...then their special teams pulled a rabbit out of its hat with an onside kick and he lead short drive to tie it. Fine.

He had 121 yards passing in the last 5 minutes, largely against a prevent defense.

He had ZERO yards passing in two OT possessions and the game was won by their kicker with a 53 yard FG after a fumble by matt moore and a 3 and out by Tebow.

I know you didn't do it on purpose, but Dilfer is an apt comparison.

Not a good QB, but if you gave him enough chances and kept the opponent under 14 points he could make a play or two and win some games for you.

Is he the worst guy in the league or the worst to ever suit up? Probably not. We can argue over how to define the phrase "he stinks" until the cows come home, but that doesn't change the reality that he's just not very good, at least at this level and at this point in time.

Agree to disagree. He won the first round of a post season playoff, something no one here has done in decades. 2nd year. Does not stink. Great arm ? No. But he can make others around him believe. He has a quality you just can't teach.

He also took over a team that was losing pretty bad, what were they 1-4 or so, and all of sudden they started winning... And won a play off game against the Steelers. IMO, that doesnt just happen by accident. If they were such a good team, they wouldnt have been 1-4 and if Tebow was so bad, they surely wouldnt have done what they did that year after he took over... It is hard to dispute what he did in 2011...
