We could hire Tebow to be the team mascot, but that's about it.

I feel bad for the guy. Deep down I always rooted for him. After the season he had in Denver its hard to believe he doesn't have a Team at all. Buffalo should sign him .

If he was willing to yes. But he ain't. He wants to be a starting QB not a FB. He is a great athlete , he seems to make things happen, a great presence in the locker room. But only if left in charge. Didn't hear a peep out of him last season on the Jets. He could have been vocal , Jesus told him to turn the other cheek. Again, Buffalo could do a lot worse.

GO DOLPHINS!!!!

I blame that loss on the completely incompetent and atrocious coaching we had at that time. Tebow simply took advantage of Sporano's ineptitude. Blame the General not the Soldier.

There's guys that have played fullback their whole life that can't make it in the NFL, what makes you think he can do it?

The main problem for Tim Tebow is not whether he can play QB, FB, or what. There is going to be a media circus around whatever team he signs for. I think ESPN announcers get bonuses based on how many times they say his name.

The main problem for Tebow is that Tony Fist Pump was his OC. TFP can make any QB look bad.

Mark Sanchez before TFP: 3,474/26 td/18 int

Mark Sanchez with TFP: 2,883/13 td/18 int

Seriously....

It's obvious what the Jets plan to do this year. Running team with a focus on defense. They may also plan to copy the 49ers and run the read option fad with Geno Smith.

For the offense they drafted a QB, 3 offensive linemen, a running back (Ivory) and a FB...

Geno Smith QB, Brian Winters OG, Oday Aboushi OT, William Campbell G, Tommy Bohanon FB

For the defense they drafted a top CB and DT.

Dee Milliner CB, Sheldon Richardson DT.

It's pretty ironic since they got the tools that fit with Sparano's style but are now running the WCO.

Their new OC is a WC offense guy. 70% of Geno Smith's throws in college were under 15 yards so maybe that helps him...if he can learn the system.

They still have no pass rushing LB'ers and average receivers. I think they employ more of a 4-3 look this year with....

LDE Calvin Pace
DT Wilkerson
DT Richardson
RDE Coples

This will be the last year for the read option in the NFL if it enters into the AFC East. I think old BB will figure a way to wreck it.

After the Gator Raid we just pulled we might as well sign him to replace Michael Egnew. I'm sure he's way more dangerous than Egnew in the Red Zone. He also would probably practice harder, and block better than Egnew.

Our tight end roster would look like this:

Dustin Keller
Charles Clay
Dion Sims
Tim Tebow

Trade Egnew for whatever you can get for him, which won't be much.

Yes there's a side show that comes along with the guy so you would ensure the media knows from day one he's being signed into camp as a TE, and to compete for a spot as a TE, NOT a QB.

I dont know about that Toko, SF was pretty successful this year with the pistol form of the read option... and with other QB's like Cam Newton and RG3, I dont think it is going anywhere for a while...

Teams want Tebow to be a TE, and he isnt willing to do it.. I think ultimately he is going to have to make that move. But I understand his position, only one team has given him a real shot, and he took a team with a horrible losing record, turned around their season and won a playoff game... In the right situation Tebow has thrived at the QB position as far as win/loss records go... But it appears teams are not going gamble to build their team around him and his style. If he goes to the CFL instead of play TE in the NFL I think he is foolish... His prayers will tell him to play TE eventually... Being selfish in wanting to just play QB is not a good role model move for him..

What makes you think Tebow can play TE??

Frankly, I'd rather have Egnew. He's got more experience at the position, in our system and he's not a travelling circus.

Teblow needs to go to Canada and learn to play TE or LB. That or its time to start preaching full time.

There is absolutely ZERO chance he ends up on this team at any position.

I wouldn't be so sure, because Ross loves him a traveling circus. smileys with beer

I like clay, he's actually been one of the few who have been able to get down the seam and make a catch. not sure what his position is, though. too small for TE and FB, more an H Back but to we even use that in our offense?

Gator-(raid). That's good. I myself was noting the fact that a lot of the draftees came from Florida.

This is the NFL. Y can't sit a guy and then have him come in only for a Wildcat play. It will never work. Tebow did what he did by the element of surprise. He needs to start somewhere to be effective. A place like Buffalo would be perfect. They have no offense except for CJ Spiller. Their new Rookie could learn a lot off him. Id sign him for a 1 yr contract.

The sad part was the comments that fata$$ Ryan made, not a thanks for being a team player, not a wish you luck, but just a "I'm glad he stayed in shape" statement.

Almost as if they wanted this guy to fail to make that Sanchez stain look better than he is.

Not a big Tebow fan but IMO they tried to F him.

Not a fair comparison. Different positions. Lane is not an H-back.

But I reserve the right to back track on that....I am not sold on Dion Sims or Egnew so Clay may win by default.
