Our 2013 Draft Class

Dion Jordan/DE/Oregon (first round/3rd overall)
Jamar Taylor/CB/Boise State (second round/54th overall)
Dallas Thomas/OT/Tennessee (third round/77th overall)
Will Davis/CB/Utah State (third round/93rd overall)
Jelani Jenkins/LB/Florida (fourth round/104th overall)
Dion Sims/TE/Michigan State (fourth round/106th overall)
Mike Gillislee/RB/Florida (fifth round/164th overall)
Caleb Sturgis/K/Florida (fifth round/166th overall)
Don Jones/DB/Arkansas State (seventh round/250th overall)

In light of our acquisition of Wallace, this was all a fait accompli.

I like it.

I could have argued trying to grab Jonathan Franklin, RB, UCLA in later rounds but we got a tight end to compete with the "Three scrubs and maybe Fasano is a 4th" group.

Don't know much about Gillislee and maybe you Florida guys can bive some feedback.

Hopefully Sturgis can make up for the confidence-lost Carpenter.

As I just stated in another thread, time will tell. I have questions about every pick (and a few trades) outside of Taylor and Jordan.

Ireland is definitely marching to his own drummer.

The FO is putting a lot of stock in Daniel Thomas staying healthy. We have no power back outside of him.

We could always give the pumpkin to our fullback J-Train for short yardage in a pinch. The dude usually knocks the first tackler on his ass and then drags another or two for a spell.

Jordan & Taylor will be starters

Taylor will make us forget the Sean Smith experiment

Thomas adds a versatile lineman that along with hopefully Winston or Clabo and lance Louis give us a lot of OL depth. Hopefully Martin or Thomas can play LT

Sims & Gillislee will add weapons to our offense

Davis seems like a project. Good cover man, but seems to be a week tackler. It will be interesting to see who the odd men out here are

Don't know Jones, would have went with a Robert Lester or Tony Jefferson

Only time will tell on Sturges. I don't think we will keep 2 kickers

According to Pro Football Weekly, Gillislee has 4.5 speed (this was posted prior to the Combine).

That's where I thought Ireland was going to go if/when he drafted a running back.

I agree with you on Jordan, but Taylor? Jordan was drafted to start immediately, but Taylor was added to the mix in the hopes he can start, or at least contribute.

God help us if Danny Thomas, The Lebanese, is even ON the roster come September, let alone relying on him as our no. 1 back. I'd give that title to LAMAHHHH Miller.

Pretty much all there is to it. I actually admire him putting his Nuts on the plate. No safe picks here. Huge High reward/ High Crash and burn ratio. Playing it safe has gotten us nowhere in the last 2 decades. I'm on board. thumbs up

GO DOLPHINS!!!!
