Now if we can just get Ross to keep his mouth shut, then perhaps the "national media" (primarily based in New "sucks like" York and New "sucks like" England) will stop trying to discredit your Yammie.

Is the weird part the rant about north vs south?
That was weird. Didn't know people still did that.

Speaking of weird. How bout the Chargers going from Seau to Te'o.
Wonder if Te'o will rock the double-nick?
He wore 5 at ND...I could see it.
A lot of eerie similarities between the two. The names even rhyme.

Both of Samoan ancestry. Te'o is a perfect fit for the Chargers. He will give that team everything he has. Samoans are very tough and have a lot of pride. I expect to see a lot of new Charger fans wearing Te'o jerseys here in Hawaii with such a large Samoan population here.

Everyone is better after they die. Aerosmith is still alive and kickin'. Love the Allman Bro's and LS tho.

Books are better than real life. That's why they're books.

Tom Brady played football in "the North" Dan Marino played football in "the North" Joe Montana played football in the North. Ben Roeth, Joe Flacco...

your problem is your trying to divide when you only need to add!

Jimi Hendrix is from Seattle. That's in the North and he was a band all by himself. Boston was a great band from a city I do not care for...Chicago....another name sake band and Styx from the aforementioned city.

many from the west.....rock band heaven....England and King of all rock bands from the east, Led Zepplin!

It's not about the Mason/Dixon line it's about character... We all know you are one but do you have any?

haha. I stopped listening to rock music (for the most part) in 2002 when the lead guitar died. Bye bye Ms. American Pie....

Still love me some Godsmack but damned if everyone else didn't forget about the lead guitar.

I've played in bands since 1990....Hair bands, drunk bands, drug bands, good time bands....

I bought my favorite guitar from my guitar hero, in person. George Lynch. I know nobody knows who that is....

I moved to the south...when in Rome....i now listen to (and play) country. LOL aT MYSELF.

AND BTW....Florida may be in the south but it is NOT the south. It may as well be a deserted island for tourist and runaway rednecks (bad boyz bad boyz..wutcha gonna do?) and people who were trapped here when it became an island. It aint exactly Rosewood any more...it's more like Australia where all the crazies were banished to...

Oh...and refugee descendants from Cuba...

But what the hell...the weather is awesome! and so are the concealed weapons permits!

(Paraphrase) Why did you feel the need to shoot the cop killer 265 times?

Sheriff Grady Judd: Because we ran out of bullets!

Good music can come from anywhere.

Boston and Aerosmith gotta be high on any rock fan's list.

Skynyrd, 38 Special etc are there also.

Rush and The Band were both great.

The Beatles, The Who, etc are also at or near the top.

disagree. some of their later studio stuff has a lot of digital manipulation etc, but their earlier records, and live, have some great guitar work

eesti, I grew up in the 80's sportin a mullet, I know exactly who George Lynch is. Anyone who says rock is dead, hasn't heard Slash's last two solo CD's, or anything Buckcherry has put out.

I'll throw a name out there as a test of your collective Southern rock knowledge, my cousin is a close personal friend of Rickey Medlocke's (met him a bunch of times, super cool dude), can anyone tell me what band he's been in for the last dozen years and what band he fronted back in the 70/80's???????? (without doing a google search)
