I thought we had cle's 5th round pick in the bess trade. in fact, espn.com showed that as our pick since yesterday. however, cle took it with no explantion.
plus it seems like we had another 5th rounder and a few 7ths but they are all gone. what happened? i heard nothing about any trades

we traded one 2nd to get Jordan @#3.
We traded down from 82 for a pair of 4ths.
We swapped picksvin the 4th and got Clevelands LAST pick in the 5th (which we used on Gillesee) in the Bess trade.
We traded back into round 3 for Will Davis which cost us a 4, 5 & 7.
we had:
1 (traded To Oakland
2a (traded to Oakland for Jordan)
2b ...Jamar Taylor
3a ...Dallas Thomas
3b (traded to New Orleans for pair of 4ths)
4 (swapped with Cleveland)... Jelani Jenkins
5a (traded to Green Bay for Will Davis pick)
5b (Comp)... Caleb Sturgis
7a (traded to Cleveland for a 5th in Bess trade)
7b (traded to Green Bay for Will Davis Pick)
7c (comp)
We added in trades:
1 - ...Dion Jordan
3c - ...Will Davis
4b - (traded to Green Bay for Will Davis Pick)
4c - ...Dion Sims
5 - added for Bess trade. used on ...Gillesee
I think thats all of it.

Regrettably, I don't watch a lot of college ball, so I am not familiar with most of the players.
But, based on what I read or have heard, I'm not real pleased with this draft (Miami), but I won't go so far as to call it a disaster. That we will have to wait on.
I didn't like giving up a pick for Davis, but I think they misjudged the CB market when trading down and saw McFadden, Logan Ryan & Bidi-Wreh-Wison go off the board and had to settle for Davis, unless they were keying on the pass breakups per game which Davis ranked #1 in 2012
Should have looked at Terry Hawthorne or Poyer, but we will see if I am wrong.
Playing it safe has gotten us Doughnuts over the past two decades. Looks like Ireland is finally looking to get playmakers on the field. Huge upside if he lands half of them.
