34 year old player whose production has declined for 3 straight years. 5 sacks last year. 8.5 before that. Only a situational pass rusher at this point....and not a very effective one IMO.

I respectfully disagree. The numbers may bot be as high in sacks, but he is sooo disruptive and usually double teamed.

Add in the fact that 1/2 of Indy went out the door post manning, and they still played decent defense.

I wouldn't mind seeing him in as asituational player for a 1-2 year contract with the Fins

The experts are basically saying the same thing as eesti, which is why he is still out there.

Age and money catch up to these guys and they are then left out on the street.

I would imagine it's tough for these aging players to accept a cut in pay when they mentally feel they have earned the right to earn the big bucks based on past performance and experience. But unlike other business where past performance and experience are appreciated, it's youth and vitality that is more important. It's "what can you do for me now;" that is the mantra of the NFL.
