Kinda sh.tty of them to leave him flopping for a week. I wonder if Rex was trying to lure Parcells out of retirement and Tony was the bait?

No, next stop for sparano is Buffalo. He hasn't screwed them up. He needs to finish the AFC East before moving to other divisions.

Why KC?

He's a parcells guy. I'm not aware of any connection between that group and Reid.

I could see that. Their new HC is a Sean Payton guy and Payton is a Parcells guy.

For those of you that think Ross is a terrible owner...count your blessings he's not Woody Johnson.

Not only is he going to keep Rex This year, but he's basically letting Ryan hire the new GM, and he's said the GM will have final say on personnel.

Utterly dysfunctional.

Hmm. It would have been interesting if they would have kept Wanny...maybe hired Cameron as the OC. You'd have 3 former Phins HCs on the same team. What a disaster that would have been!! smoking smiley

I meant he is no good so he would go to the worst team.

And the hits keep on coming for the Jets:

Albert Breer ?@AlbertBreer
Caldwell picked the Jaguars as his landing spot after after a second interview for the Jets GM job. Contract still needs to be finalized.

that's not much worse than exending Sporano after the Harbaugh fiasco. Or keeping Ireland and hiring a new coach. Or, pre-Ireland, keeping Wanny and promoting Speilman (after hiring Marino for 3 weeks).

We've seen our share of disfunction.

It's Tony Sparano--two 'a's ending with an 'o'.

Whether you spell his name correctly on not, Tony is no longer a Jets coach.

LOL truth i saw that one ......that would be a dream come true especially if they fire rex ryan and hire cameron as the head coach.

Cameron is not that bad as a OC....but his success there with the ravens imo is because the ravens have so much talent offensively.

Not the case with the jets. I think and hope at the same time that he will stink with the jets if they indeed hire him.
