I think Jared Cook would be a good addition. Fastest TE at combine with a 4.49 40. 760 yards and 520 yards in last two years. Not good QB play. he's 25 years old. Notre Dame has good to average TE's but no great ones since Mark Bavaro. Which I am fine with, as long as it's to come back as the #2 TE and we get a real stud TE this year thru the draft or otherwise. ________________________________________________________ The beatings will continue until morale improves. Date: January 06, 2013 09:39AM I think he'll stay, too, at a very reasonable price for a #2 TE. In an offense that struggles to score passing TDs, he has had:
2008: 7 2009: 2 2010: 4 2011: 5 2012: 5 In only one of those seasons did our QBs throw 20 TDs (2011 with Henne + Moore), so he's often about 1/3 or more of our receiving TDs for the season. That's more an indictment of our passing game than praise of his game, but TD production can't be ignored. Sorry, only registered users may post in this forum.
